"Its okay, girl. We'll talk about it at home. For now, I think we need to go to Target and get some Ben and Jerry's."

"Fuck yeah," I laugh through my tears, smiling as we walked to her car. I had a feeling tonight was gonna be a late night, with tons of shit to talk about.

"I want cookie dough."

"Cookie dough or cookie dough ice cream?"

"Cookie dough ice cream, hoe. What are we here for?" I laughed, as she grabbed the pint sized Ben and Jerry's and pretended to throw it at me.

"Do it you wont. No balls."

"No, I dont have balls. I am female."

I slap her and we walk towards the check out, her pushing me in the cart like I'm 5. After we get the stuff we were buying, we head home and walk into Anna's room, sitting on her bed. Then I remembered why I was here. "Rose, do you wanna talk about it?"

Jack's POV

"ZACH! WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL!" I'm yelling at Zach, trying to find my keys. "What have you done.." I trail off looking at him, then I turn around and walk out the door. I run to my car, and I hear the door open and close. I turn around to see Jonah, scared look on his face, close to tears. "Jack, I," he stutters as he comes closer to me, "I want to come with you. To help Rose."

"No, Jonah. I need to go to her alone."

"She trusts me, Jack. Let me come with you if you want to help her."

I sigh, considering letting him come with me. "Fine."

"I can come?!"

"Yeah, get your ass in the car."

We get in the car and Jonah pulls out his phone, looking at his phone finder app. He types in her number, watching the loading symbol impatiently. "I found her! It says she's in... San Francisco.. moving north? Shit, Jack. She's on a plane!"

That's when I stop the car and pull over, opening the door and stepping out. I breathe in, taking in everything that's happened in the last hour. She's gone. For good. And it's all Zach's fault. No, it's your fault, Jack. Because you realized what was happening about a second too late. Say goodbye to your future, your fiance, your love, those dreams of having a family, your best friend. To everything you ever thought would go right. I walk back towards the car, seeing Jonah in the driver's seat. A tear falls down my face as I step around to the passenger side, getting in. I look at Jonah, who is now looking down at his phone, checking where Rose is. "She stopped moving, she's in Portland."

"Oregon?" I yell through my sobs.

"Yeah, Jack."

"Just drive. I can't handle this right now."

He starts the car and begins the drive to the airport, a silent one. I run to the ticket booth line as Jonah goes to park the car. Once I get to the ticket booth about 20 minutes later, i say, "Hey, what's the soonest flight to Portland?"

"That'll be in about 25 minutes." Its about 7:15 now.

"Okay, I need two tickets. My other is coming."

"Okay, that'll be.. $150."

"Okay, here," I say handing her my credit card. Jonah runs in and gets in line with me as the woman hands me the tickets. "Thank you!"

"Jo, we have 20 minutes to burn until the plane leaves."

"Let's just go to the gate."

"Yeah.." I trail off, running towards the gate. We run through security and head towards the long boarding tunnel, walking quickly through it. Why did it take 30 minutes to get those tickets? We sat down in our seats as the pilot's voice came over the speakers. "Ladies and gentlemen, please fasten your seatbelts as we are about to take off." I heard about 30 clicks before the plane's engine started and we took off. Jonah tapped me and tried to talk to me. "Jack, are you okay?"
