Me and Jack just said our first I love yous, and everyone in the house noticed. Then he kissed me. Not like normal, though. This kiss had more love, more passion. Everyone started clapping, and we didn't mind. He picked me up, breaking the kiss. He just sat there and smiled at me with his cheeky grin. Everyone gathered around us in a group hug. Did I mention how much I love these people?
--------------------
After dinner, I was tired so I headed to me and Jack's room. Sydnie and Jack followed me, for no apparent reason. Jack layed in the bed next to me with his head on my leg, while Syd sat in front of us. "Awwe, you two are so cute."

"Shut up, Syd," Jack said as I played with his noodles.

"It's so hard to take you seriously with her pulling your hair like that. You look like Albert Einstein."

"As a matter of fact, he looks like George Washington."

"Babe, I told you not to bring him up."

"No, no, keep talking. I wanna hear more," Sydnie said laughing.

I explained the inside joke to her while she laughed her ass off.

Jack was so disappointed that we were bringing this up, so I kissed him to make him feel better. "That doesn't make it better, babe."

"It does now!" I said, looking down at him with my sassy smile. "Love you mean it!" He just went back to letting me play with his hair when Sydnie changed the subject. "I love your necklace," she said, pointing to my best friends necklace.

"I feel like I've seen it before

"I feel like I've seen it before. Oh, yeah, on that blonde boy."

"Corbyn? Yeah we have matching ones." I said, getting a look from Jack.

"Baby, can we talk?" he said, motioning to Sydnie. "Alone?"

Sydnie got the message and, disappointed, she walked out. Then Jack started talking.

"What's with you and Corbyn? I mean, ever since I got out of the hospital you two seemed to get closer."

"Baby, there's nothing between me and Corbs. We were best friends in middle school, and we just remembered now. Nothing more, nothing less."

"That's it?"

"That's it."

"I love you," he said, rolling over to where he was on top of me. He was now in something like a pushup position, and then he started doing pushups on top of me. Oh my god, I thought. Every time he would come down, he kissed me. The next time he did it, I grabbed his face so he couldn't keep going. I rolled over, so now I was on top. I tried to do what he did, but my arms ended up getting tired after the first one, so I fell on top of him. He laughed at me, grabbed my hips and didn't break the kiss, but then someone walked in. We both heard it, so we tried to get in family friendly positions before whoever it was saw us. "Woah, woah, woah. May I interject, there are children here, and your door is wide open."

Me and Jack laughed. "We were just kissing. You did it in kindergarten, so you can't talk." Jonah had a look of defeat in his face, and he walked out. I ran after him and jumped on him, hugging him from behind. He laughed and said, "Yeah, yeah, I know I was an elementary school player." I shook my head and got off of him, walking back to me and Jack's room. I got back in bed and sat next to him, my head on his shoulder. His arm found its way to my hip and wrapped around it. I just cuddled into him and then I fell asleep. He tried to walk to the TV stand and grab the remote but I just held on to him. He sighed, and texted Dani.

Jack
Hey dude can you come give me the remote?

Daniel
Why would I do that?

Jack
Your sister that's why.

Daniel came in and grabbed the remote, handing it to Jack so he could watch Netflix. He shook me awake gently, asking me what I wanted to watch. "I don't care, as long as we still get to cuddle."

He smiled at me, then went back to going through the lists of movies to watch. He stopped on Friday the 13th, saying, "This one?"

"Whatever," I said. "Somebody's sassy tonight." I almost slapped him, but he started the movie so I let him watch. About halfway through the movie, there was a part that really scared me, so I held onto Jack like he was my life support, cuddling my head into his chest. He let me hold him, he knew I was scared. "Do you want me to turn it off, babe?"

"No, its fine." I lied. I wanted him to enjoy his movie without me being a pussy, so I just bit my lip to keep from screaming. "Baby, I can tell when you're lying."

"Just watch the damn movie. I'm fine." I said, a bit annoyed. Just because I'm scared doesn't mean you have to lose your enjoyment. "Okay," he said, confused why I wasn't wanting to turn it off. He knew I hated scary movies, so I just tried to fall asleep. I ended up falling asleep, only to be woken up by one of the worst nightmares of my life.
                       --------------------
I was laying in bed, when I heard the front door open. I know I locked it when me and Jack came home, so it must've been one of the boys. But none of them had gone out. I was scared, but Jack was still sleeping soundly next to me. Then I saw him walk in. The man in the mask from Friday the 13th walked into me and Jack's room, coming up to the bed. I shook Jack awake, trying to save both of us. But I realized that I was too late. He already had a hold on Jack's arm and was dragging him out of the room. I screamed and jumped out of bed, running after him, but he was too fast. My baby was gone. Again.
                       --------------------
I woke up screaming and crying, searching around with my hands for Jack. I couldn't feel him, so I started crying more, then he walked in from the kitchen with a glass of water. He ran to the bed and set the water down, holding me and trying to get me to stop crying.

"Rose, what happened? Talk to me."

I got myself together and said, "Nightmares. It's fine."

"Baby, you were screaming. It's not 'fine.' "

"The guy, from Friday the 13th, he broke in and kidnapped you. He took you away, and I was alone. Again. I tried to stop him, but he was too fast," I said between sobs. He held me for a while, kissing my head and telling me that things were gonna be okay. I didn't know if I could trust that.

That was a very good and fresh chapter, I think. Lots of drama in the next few chapters. See you next week. Stay lovely!
