Chapter one

My name is Zander, I am 27 years old and the Wolf King with my mate Skye by my side.  Me and Skye have been King and Queen for a year and I think we are doing okay so far. My mum, Skylar, and dad, Jesse, comes and lives with us often with all the kids and sometimes Alpha Damien comes as well.

Right now Skye is 8 months pregnant with twins and has the palace staff and guards running around after her for food. 

Right now we were sitting having dinner with my mum, dad and the kids. Payton is now 18, Shaun is 16, Cole is 13 and little Marci and 10 is still cant sit still for more than five minutes.

"So Zander, I hope you have been looking after Skye she looks starving" mum said watching Skye eat 5 different meals off 5 different plates around her.

I roll my eyes chuckling "Mum, I have been looking after her, this has been a normal meal for the last 6 months"

"But I have visited every month and every week I can"

"Yeah during the day"

"Oh"

"Yeah, last week's craving was southern fried chicken dipped in chocolate, and sprinkled with hundreds and thousands" I said laughing as I watched everyone look disgusted

"Ewwwww, Skye that is horrible" Shaun said scrunching up his nose

"Hey" Skye said with a mouthful of food, food spitting out of her mouth with every word "You try being pregnant with 2 pups and try eating normally", although it sounded more like 'vo, ty, bing, pegnat, wit, oo, ups, nd, ty, eatg, normly'  "Now look, you made me loose food" Skye cried distraught looking at the food across the table after she finished eating her mouthful

Because Skye was sitting next to me it was easier to comfort her, I lifter her from her chair and sat her on my lap, no other wolf would be able to but because I was the King I had more strength

"Baby, don't cry" I whisper as she cries into my neck, sobbing about the food "I'll get you more food and for desert you can have extra ice cream and sauce on your gummy bear cake"

"And extra gummy bears?" she whispered hopefully

"Yes and extra, extra gummy bears"

"Okay" she whispered and then kissed me before sitting back in her chair eating again

"Is that a daily occurrence?" Payton asked horrified, she found her mate earlier this year and they were about to start trying for a baby but I think this just put her off

"Yeah Pay, but what do you expect, she is eating for 3 werewolves" I said chuckling at her horrified expression when I said that

"Yeah, I don't want a pup yet...or maybe ever" she whispered scared making everyone chuckle

"Yeah, but Pay, mum had 4 kids and practically destroyed the house because she hated the smell of wallpaper paste and she could smell the paste even all them years later" Dad said laughing as mum blushed

"It was disgusting, it made me sick" she said blushing and looking down

"I think I am about to be sick" Payton said as she got up and ran to the bath room, mum got up and followed her out.

"She smells different you know" dad said thoughtfully

"I thought so too when she walked in but I just thought that it was because she had mated with him" I said 

"I know but it changed since then, about a week or two ago" he said, with each word becoming more and more pale.

"Oh god" he groaned
