POV: Loki
As the ever lasting argument between Thor and my Father broke out, I decided to go and look for some answers.
I sat on my bed. Quietly. Shakily holding and staring at my left wrist. "Why did I go blue? Am I cursed? What aren't they telling me?
I glanced up at my damaged armour, then looked around my golden room.
*Knock.* *Knock.* *Knock.*
"Loki? You're quiet. Are you okay? Can I come in?"
"Yes Mother." I replied as I wiped away tears from my watery eyes. "I'm just tired that's all Mother."
"I hope you trust me as much as you lie, Loki." Mother said calmly. "You can trust me Loki, You know you can."
"I Know Mother, sorry." I replied .
"What's wrong? Loki...." My Mother said as she gasped, " Your armour! What happened? It was Thor again wasn't it? You followed him into battle again Loki! Let me see your arm!"
I turned away and grabbed my wrist, she fell quiet. I looked up at my Mother as she frowned. Tearing up I turned around and showed her my wrist.
"There's nothing there Loki, What are you hiding?" She questioned.
I glanced down forgetting my wrist had gone back to it's pale white tone. "Mother I... was touched by a Frost Giant." I said hesitantly.
"But there's no burns....Oh." Mother said sadly.
"What is it Mother? Tell me please. Am ill? I WENT BLUE PLEASE TELL ME..." I screamed with instant regret.
A rapid angry Father charged into my room. "WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY LOKI?" Father shouted whilst a curious Thor waddled in behind him.
Mother stood up and walked out the room with Thor as he tried to see what was going on. What have I done? Why was mother so upset? What did I say? Is there something that wrong with me?
Father angrily bellowed as thoughts raced through my mind. Am I one of them? The very thing I was taught to hate? Why would Father hide this from me? Why would Mother hide this from me? Did Thor know? Is this why he was always favoured?
"TELL ME FATHER!" He went silent as I screeched as high as I could go, "TELL ME! AM i A FROST GIANT FATHER? THE VERY THING YOU TAUGHT ME TO HATE?"
"Yes Loki!" He replied quietly.
"You stole me? I sobbed.
"Yes Loki!" He replied quietly.
"Why?" I asked.
"I wanted to gain peace, through you." He said knowingly.
"So I'm no more than another stolen relic. Locked up here 'till you might have use of me?"
"Why do you twist my words?"
"You could of told me what I was from the beginning, why didn't you?"
"You're my son Loki, I wanted only to protect you from the truth."
"Why cause I..I am the monster parents tell their children about at night?"
Odin frowned, I have no sympathy for him. My whole life has been a lie, why would he teach me to hate the very thing that I am? Now I know why he favoured Thor so much. He'd never allow a Frost Giant to sit on the thrown of Asgard. Laufeyson?
"Leave Odin!"I commanded.
"One day I will be king. Odin and Thor will get what they deserve. They will feel my wrath upon their souls-"
"Loki?" Said Thor's high pitched squeak. " Are you okay? I heard everything you said."
"What do you want Thor. Have you come to mock me?" I said Moodily.
"No of course not Brother! I love you no matter what you look like... I mean who you are." Thor said happily.
"You love me brother? You don't hate me do you brother? You said you hate all Jotunns!" I said confused. Why would Thor like me, love me? It was only a couple hours ago he screamed at me saying that 'All Jotunns should fear him like Father did'. Why me?
"I love you Loki because you're my brother, we will fight together and rule together. You and I, Kings of Asgard!" Thor laughed triumphantly. "I know what will make you feel better-"
"What?" I interrupted.
"A big hug!" Thor screamed as he jumped on my bed and smothered me.
"Get off!" I demanded. "I hate hugs. THOR STOP!"
I began to calm down.
"See told you Loki! I knew this would cheer you up!" Thor stated.
Even after Thor being reckless and careless, he certainly knows how to give good gentle hugs.
"Loki, if you're gonna lie... get better at it."
I smirked as I whispered, "Oh I will brother, don't you worry!"
