POV: Loki

For the first time in my life I felt love. Something I only though I'd dream of having. Freya is the part of me that was missing. When I kill Odin she will never leave my side, she'll see that I am worthy of ruling Asgard and the Nine Realms.

"Alright Loki," she said, "If you're  going to overthrow Odin you're going to have to learn how to use your powers, you can't attack him with one of those pathetic butter knives."

"I know how to use my daggers best. And no they're not butter knives, I could slice the Allfather's throat and he won't ever see it coming." I replied sharply.

"Aww look at little Loki with his butter knives ready to slit Odin's throat. It takes a real man to do this job Loki, not a child. Don't waste my time-" She said mockingly.

"Fine Goddess, anything for you. but they're not butter knives!" I returned. She looked up at me and smiled for a second before returning a sharp look. I was never fond of using magic as I never properly knew how to use it, but in order to survive I must change.

There was a THUD and all of a sudden I was on the floor, I looked up and saw the hologram of Freya fade away. She picked me up and stated, "Loki, you must always stay on guard. You never know what you must be up against."

I pulled out my dagger and swung for the Goddess. Quickly she grabbed and twisted my arm and kicked me onto the floor.

"No daggers Loki! Don't let me tell you again." She said angrily. "Now, put the dagger away, channel your inner focus. Pretend I'm Odin or Thor, teleport behind me and kick me in the back of the knee."

"I can teleport? Since when has that been a thing?" I asked in shock.

"You're the God of Mischief Loki, you can do a lot of things only if you try, like I said, we're similar." She informed me with a cunning smile. " Just focus and you can do it."

I didn't know how to do it, never mind knowing that it was even possible. But I knew in order to defeat Odin I must be able to do it. I stood still for a moment. I closed my eyes. I focused on being behind her. You can do it Loki, I know you can. I closed my fist and looked up. I was behind her, but there was a hologram of me in front of her.

I stood in amazement. Hesitantly I kicked her in the back of the knee. Pushed her to the floor. I pulled my dagger to her throat.

"Impressive Loki!" Freya exclaimed with an excited tone. I looked deep into her eyes and she looked deep into mine. My heart raced as I leaned into her. I closed my eyes. Without warning she wrapped her legs around my neck and chucked me to the floor. I couldn't move and I couldn't breathe. She let go and stood up whilst I caught my breath. "You should have seen the bluff Loki darling, a blind man could see it. Being someone with your powers Loki you must be able to see a trick before it is even acted out."

"I just got carried away," I explained scratching my head, "You're just really beautiful and I've never felt this way before."

"Save the sob stories for later Loki, you've still got days more of training to do, a lot to learn if you dare try and fight the Allfather. He'll be ready for you when you go back, he knows where you are," she implied, "And he hopes you never return."

I looked towards the bright golden palace, imagining it burning to the ground. And I can't wait to have Odin at my feet begging for his life.

'I will be king' I thought to myself.

"I know you will Loki, when we're done here you'll be the most powerful being on this God forsaken rock, and you know it's true." Freya said with a warming smile.

I was in love, I'd die for her.
