Da Yeon's P.O.V

"I'm really so happy to be dancing with you, and I can't believe it's finally time." Kino said, holding my hand tightly.

The four of us were gonna go on stage soon.

The past 24 hours was a complete dread.

I ignored Jimin as much as I could.

Even on text.

I didn't open his texts.

Even when we met today, he knew I didn't want to talk to him.

The guilt only grew more and more as time passes.

"I mean, to dance alongside you, it's a privilege." I chuckled, trying to force out a smile.

"Okay love birds, it's time for us to go. Here's our cue." Seulgi said and directed us to the stage.

Love birds.

I quickly went, so that I didn't have to be stuck with Jimin.

"All the best." Kino told me and we instantly stepped onto stage.

Here it goes.

I'll just never feel the same... I can't forget what happened the day before.

"Yeon-ie!" Kino jumped in joy as soon as the director announced that the 1st runner up was my team.

Second place was better than not having a plaving at all.

Quickly, I stood up and gave Kino the hug that he wanted.

As I did, Jimin stared at me, giving me a small smile.

"Jimin, isn't this your dream?" Seulgi joked and he rolled his eyes, yet smiling.

"We didn't get first place, so it's nothing much." Jimin pursed his lips, and I quickly looked away from him before anyone noticed.

Kino broke the hug, pulling away from me.
He stared at me, showing how happy he was. We didn't get first place yet he was so happy. He was really a joy pill.

Catching me off guard, he cupped my face, then pulled me closer to him, before placing his lips on mine.

My eyes widened in shock, because it was really so sudden.

What was weird was that I could see Jimin staring from the corner of my eye.

This is seriously the worst moment for me ever.

Why did Kino have to kiss me infront of everybody here? When Jimin is here.

When Kino pulled away, I gulped in fear.

I didn't know what to do.

"I really don't know why, but thank you, so much." Kino chuckled.

At that moment, Jimin was already walking to the front to get the award.

Quickly, the rest of us followed behind him.

Jimin must be happy, right? He must be...

"You don't look very happy," Seulgi said, scanning Jimin's face.

I couldn't help but look at him, wondering if he wanted to get the first place so badly instead.

"Just a little bothered by something. But it's really... Nothing much." Jimin forced out a smile, and my heart sank at that moment.

Why did my heart ache for him?
