Why does it feel so good but hurt so bad

You sat in your room. Since three hours you were starring at the wall and your head was full of bad feelings.

Yesterday evening had been a great disaster! After you had said those terrible things to Break and called him Kevin, he had said, that it would be better, if you and him would go home now. In the carriage and at home he hadn't said a word and you had felt so guilty. Well, you still felt guilty...

You were thinking about what you could do, to make him forgive you. He liked sweets, right? So you could buy some candy for him... But that was too easy. So you decided to bake a cake and do a picnic with Break and everybody. Yeah, that was a good idea! You stood up and went into the kitchen. There, you opened the doors of the cupboards. Some condiments were missing... You had to go to the town, to buy them.

You were almost at the door, but Break saw you. "Where are you going to?"

"Em... Nowhere."

He didn't seem happy or in a good temper. Yesterday...

You went through the door.

"Alright!", you said and put all the condiments on the kitchen table. You weren't a good cook, but you had to give it at least a try. It was already late and you had to do it silently (buying all those things took you longer, than you had thought), cause you wanted to keep it a secret.

The next day you knocked at Break's door. Some seconds later, he opened it.

"Hello (y/n)!"

"Hi... Xerxes. Are you busy right now?..."

"No. What is it?"

"Do you want to have a... picnic with me? I-I also baked a cake, so if you want to..."

"Did you say cake?! Then of course I want to! I wanna eat that cake!!!!"

You smiled. "Then why don't we go to the garden? And we could ask Sharon to join us."

"Good idea! I'll ask Sharon and you prepare the picnic!"

You nodded and turned around to go, but suddenly, you remembered that you forgot something.

"Xerx... I'm so sorry. I couldn't control myself, I didn't want to slap you and say those things to you... and most of all I didn't want to call you Kev-"

He laid one finger on your lips. "Shsssshhhh! You don't have to say anything. It's... fine..."

It was a nice day: the sun was shining and it was warm. You, Sharon and Break enjoyed your picnic.

"Ah! So delicious! And you were the one who baked this?!", He asked.

"Yes! I'm glad you like it!"

"I want another piece!"

"But Break, you already ate five!!!!", shouted Sharon and you had to giggle.

You sprawled on the red-white blanket and closed your eyes. You were tired, because you went to bed very late, yesterday. Break placed your head on his lap. Some minutes later you fell asleep.
