//////////////////This book followed a basic formula that has been tried many times before with variations. I hope I did it well. I could have used google street view more, but I didn't want to drag the flow of the book.
I am thinking about a follow on book someday. Perhaps with police dogging their heels and a murderous ex scheming to drive them apart or bury her, the doubts that would be normal to such a relationship and the people who prey on them... I have some ideas but it will be a while before I even start writing it.
The next book about Claire (and some other stories I am considering) will be darker. In this story, Claire saw her man shoot someone, but she didn't know much about his illegal activities. Seeing your man doing terrible things is different from knowing that he does 'bad things'. The sequel I envision for Claire will force her to face the reality of what her husband does far more directly. I have 2 epilogues written for it so you can choose your ending. Definitely for mature audiences only.
I am also considering a story for their son. I don't have any good ideas yet...only a teaser. A girl has an ancestor who was a Macello but never joined the family business. They went legit and altered their name .... or a daughter married someone very respectable. A letter is passed down through her family that there is someone they can go to for help if they are ever truly desperate... but that doing so may bring greater danger than whatever trouble they face. Descendants were warned not to go to the Macello's for mere bankrupcy. Any problem that is survivable with time and effort should be faced without them.

Other books
>>> Chef Scheherazade. This book will not be for the faint of heart. If you like thrillers/horror movies take that as your standard. Do NOT assume that it will be anything like Shooting the Messenger.
Chef Scheherazade will be dark and twisted. Hitler was a vegetarian and failed artist... there is some good in everyone somewhere. I have some ideas on the seeds of good to be found in him, but he is comfortable in his evil when the first story starts. I left the BAD in the bad guy and it will be quite a ride. ...I may go too far in blackening his soul.
I promise there is hope for him to be redeemed (I thought it up as a 2 part redemption story) ... but not easily. If you think that even the worst offenders can have a chance to turn their lives around and change, then you might appreciate this.
Oh, the things I have in mind... (EVIL laughter...) Try not to hate me too much.

I have a number of werewolf stories in various stages of not even close to finished.
Actually I have LOTS of story ideas. The problem is sticking with something long enough to finish it. Here are 2:
One involves an Alpha who cannot tell his human mate that he even likes her. She has mental/emotional problems from serious abuse. She needs to heal so that their relationship will not start out based on how her abusers messed up her mind. Submissive Luna
-------------
Another involves a girl who was bitten and will eventually turn into a werewolf... if she survives the change. Her time is running out. Coming to terms with how she is changing... She thinks she knows what lies ahead, but some of the truth has been held back. With a phobia of canines (wolves in particular) will she even want to survive if this is the price?
That one is called Rejecting Herself

I also have the start of an original series on a cursed family:
What if something the rest of the world struggled to find...love, riches... came too easily
-but at a terrible cost?
What if:
you killed your lovers with your passion...
you could never dare touch the man you truly loved...
you could not hug your sons after their 10th birthday without protective gloves... You dared not risk touching them skin to skin even by brief accident.
To be loved is only a touch away. To love is to be separated forever from the one you most desire. Those who love you will do anything to protect and care for you... even if you disagree with their plans. Money, power, jealous ex-wives, suspicious relatives, widows and orphans bent on revenge...
A daughter of the family wants OUT of the mess. Can she escape the curse and make her own fate, or will her fate be made for her? Can the curse ever be broken?
Daughters of Lillith
