Fire man POV

I knew y/n didn't like the winter time, so I went to see if they needed heating up. As I turned a corner in the Hall, I see y/n wrapped yup in a blanket. "Y/n! " I call.

Y/n turned their head my direction, and smiled tired. "You alright? " I asked. "It's too cold" They shivered. " Here" I said.

I wrapped my arms around y/n and carried them to their room. "Fire man? " Y/n asked worried. "It's okay" I reassured.

Once we made it, I placed y/n gently on their bed. "Stay warm" I patted their head, and headed out. As I was about to exit, y/n approached me. "Y/n? " I asked.

"Please, keep me warm" Y/n said shyly. I sighed in defeat, and smiled. "Sure" I said. I tucked y/n in first, and then layed beside them. "Fire man, thank you" Y/n said sweetly. "No problem" I replied.

Y/n kissed my cheek, and slept. Wow, first time some affection was given to me, and I like it. Cautiously, I embraced y/n in a warm hug, and snuggled closet to them. "I love you" I whispered.

So on, we slept with each other for that night, and every so often, a request by y/n is asked to keep them warm. And so, that was my sub mission.

The very next day, y/n caught a cold, and it was sad really. "Y/n! " I caught a glimpse of their hair. "Hi, Fire man! " Y/n sniffled. "Are you feeling worse? " I asked. "Yeah.. " Y/n sighed.

Oh, I know. I rushed off into the kitchen, and made a bowl of soup. The moment I finished, I dashed back to y/n.

"Here you are" I said handing y/n the bowl. "Careful, it's hot" I warned. "Thank you, Fireman" Y/n thanked me.

I gave a closed eye smile, and pecked their cheek. "If you ever need me, give me a holler! "I said walking away.

I saw at the corner of my eye, y/n was blushing prefussedly, yet they still smiled gleefully. Today was a good day. That's how I knew, we were destined to be even better than just best friends.
