As you were helping out Metal man chop trees down, you noticed him dozing off. "Metal? " You asked waving around.
As he nearly blanked out, Metal blinked out of his senses. "Oh, sorry for worrying you" Metal apologized.
You sighed. "I wonder about you sometimes" You laughed. "Y/n, honestly I do too" Metal rolled his eyes.
A second of silence passes by, then the two laugh. "How much more wood will we need? " Y/n asked. "3 more trees".
Y/n nodded at the response, looking for just the right tree.
One.
Metal man chopped down one on his own. As you kept searching, you made sure to keep caution. The forest is dangerous!
Two.
Metal man sliced another one down. You could hear the echo of the tree as it clashes to the ground. Incredibly loud...
Three...
The moment the third tree began tilting, Metal man looked opposite of the tree, and noticed you. "Watch out! ".
You were too scared to move, so you ducked out of reflex. Luckily, Metal man caught you in his grasp. " You okay? ".
Y/n had taken a moment to breathe, completely fazed. " Me? I'm fine now thanks to you" Y/n thanked Metal.
"Heh, you gotta be careful! I was afraid to lose you, y/n... " Metal man warned. Y/n blushed at this. Metal man did too.
"Um... Forget what I said" Metal gazed away. "It's okay, I get it" Y/n said. "You do? " Metal asked. Y/n nodded.
As y/n walked up to the tall robot, they carefully wrapped their arms around the robot. Metal man jolted in surprise.
"I love you" Y/n said to Metal man. "Thanks for saving my life" Y/n thanked also. "Love you too" Metal said.
He returned the hug, rubbing circles on your back. It was really relaxing, and toy felt a relationship blossom.
