Time Man x School!Reader

Oh what a day this is going to be. I was already late to school and it wasn't even my fault. It was my stupid alarm clock that never wants to work when I need it to. "Y/n, you're still here?" Mom called from the kitchen. "My dumb alarm clock didn't even ring yet!" I shouted. I quickly put on my uniform for school, and did all my stuff in the bathroom. Teeth, hair, lotion because my skin always feels dry for unknown reasons. "I'm on my way now!" I shouted while heading out.

"Hurry before teachers begin calling me" Mom said cleaning the dishes for dinner later. I panicked when she said 'call'. Oh boy, what if the teacher says I missed a test or even worse an essay! Not going to let that happen on my watch. I saw the bus to my school reaching a stop sign, and I knocked hard on the door. The driver noticed me, and opened the door.

"Y/n, why aren't you at school already?" The driver asked. "There's not much time, sorry Mr. Litwak" I said while hopping aboard. "he closed the door, and kept on driving. The School was 7 blocks away, and I would have never made it running on foot. I go to a school of all bots since apparently I am as smart as one of the dumbest ones there. How delightful... to be compared!

We reached our stop, and as soon as the doors opened, I launched myself out of the school bus, and ran to my first period class. 'Oh god, if I'm late, then no desserts after dinner!' I thought while sprinting down the hall. "No running in the halls" one of the teachers told me. "Sorry, but not sorry! I'm gonna be late!" I said while turning down the hall to see my classroom.

I finally got to the door handle, and turned it slowly to not cause a commotion. "Y/n l/n?" Ms.Sunny asked. "Here" I said quickly speed walking to my seat. Ms.Sunny looked up from her board to see me at my assigned desk. "Very well, we may now start our lesson" Ms.Sunny said in her happy mood as usual. "Phew" I told myself while searching my book bag for my homework.

Uh oh, where is it? Don't tell me I left it at home! Oh this day can't get any worse! Well it's probably not due today, so let's hope for the best. "Right now, I'll be collecting the homework I gave you all on Friday" Ms.Sunny announced to the class. Are you serious? I guess this day can get worse. I set my forehead on the table, and cursed myself out for jinxing it.

"Me and my big mouth" I mumbled into the desk. The teacher passed me seeing how I didn't have my papers out already. "Really?" Time man asked beside me. Oh well if it isn't the perfectionist himself. "How may I help you?" I asked Time man. "Don't tell me you forgot your homework again, y/n" Time man said as if he knew me for a while.

"Don't even start with me, Time" I said now sitting up, and crossing my arms in an unpleasant manner. "Whatever" Time man said before returning to doing the classwork. I took out my notebook, and answered the questions quicker then I anticipated. "Wow, these are easy" I whispered to myself. I placed my pencil down, and sat back proud of myself.

Time man had already finished before me, and so I felt uneasy. Is this some sort of contest to see who's a better scholar? The bell rang, and I jumped out of my daze. "How long was I daydreaming?" I asked myself while packing my stuff back up. "Y/n, please try coming earlier, you had me worried" Bright man suggested while twiddling with his fingers as he usually did.

"Can't make promises" I said rushing off to my next class before I'm late again. Time man has no rights to talk to me like that. After all I am just a lower class from him. We're all in high school, so some of us were mixed in freshman and sophomores, or juniors and seniors. "Take out your labs" our Science teacher asked of us. I did so, while waiting for my lab partner.

Of course, we had to work safely, but my partner feels uncertain with some tools. That'll be Wood man. "How are you today, Woody?" I joked with his name. "Please don't do that. Also, I'm fine" Woodman said. Shade man is our teacher for this class, and he taught a lot today. "Let's see who has the most right answers" Shade man said tallying up all the points on the board.

The duo right below us was Time man and Oil man. "Look Wood man, we have the most points!" I said giving him a half five. "Yay! Good teamwork" Woodman applauded for both of us. Time man only clapped slowly, while Oil man was munching down on his snacks that were strictly prohibited from the class.

Time Skip

Lunch time was around, and I just stood with my closest friends Tornado man, Splash woman, and Space man. It's a weird combination of bots, but we're all good friends based on how well we know one another from childhood. "So how's it going guys?" I asked the others. "It seems today you have a new goal, y/n" Splash woman said making baby eyes. "What do you mean?" I asked now curious. "Yea, the tension is real between you and Time man" Tornado informed.

I blushed slightly from the mention of him. I don't know why, but I guess I understand. I disliked him for being so perfect all the dang time. Also, I never really pushed him aside whenever he tried giving advice on my work. "Yea, you may be right" I told the two bots. "Hey, maybe you can try talking to him after school ends" Space man interrupted my train of thought. "Ok" I said.

We hugged as a sign of loving friendship. "Thank you guys" I said while heading to my next class as we parted ways. They all waved goodbye, and went on with their life.

Time Skip

It was the end of the day, and thus far it was a blast. The beginning was tough, but I luckily pulled through. "hey, Time man!" I called out for the purple bot beneath the tree. "Yes?" He asked still sitting and reading his book. I took a deep breath, before continuing my line.

"I was wondering if you have time to talk" I said twiddling my fingers. Time man gave a sigh before giving in, and nodding. "yes, but make it quick please" Time man said on edge. "Why do you dislike me?" I asked. " I don't dislike you, I just feel uneasy with you" Time man said with a cringed face.

"So you don't feel comfortable with my presence?" I asked making the same face he is. "Well I don't know, it's a weird feeling I get when near you" Time man said shutting the book fully. I then realized what it was, and blushed slightly.

"Well Time man, most people consider this feeling...love" I explained looking away. Oh God, he probably thinks I'm an idiot for saying that so boldly. Surprisingly, he didn't say anything. He just blushed.

Oh my God, it was so cute! I mean what, it's not that cute! "Maybe you're right" Time man said. This caught me off guard for some reason. "how so?" I asked turning back around to him.

"Well I envied you for a while, and wanted to gain more attention than you" Time man said scratching his head. I tilted my head in confusion. "But you already do! You're a great person in and out of school!" I stated.

Time man simply laughed before calming down, and sighing. "You're truly a mysterious person, y/n" Time man noted, holding my hand in his. Omg, we've made physical contact!

"I get that sometimes" I said while staring at the sky. Time man from the corner of my eye was watching only me. I turn to him as he turns opposite of me. I gave a small frown before hoisting myself on his lap.

"Uh pardon, y/n" Time man said readjusting himself. "Can we please stay like this?" I asked looking up to his Blue eyes. He gave a scoff before smiling and nodding. The two of us sat there in a comfortable silence, watching the tree leaves dance.

Now this was a moment I would cherish forever. I believe I found myself a soulmate, or better yet, a boyfriend.
