The boss and his wife both served in all the plates. At least the food looked good. They served themselves and their children first before they served you. You know that the polite way to serve guests was to serve them first before yourself. They then gave you and your parents their plates of food. You thought of saying grace before eating, but you looked at the other family! The three fat boys started gobbling up their foods fast like pigs! Their faces getting messy! Suddenly you burst out, "Where are their manners?!" And they all looked at you. It was complete silence as soon as you asked that. The wife glared at you as she put her hands on her hips. "Excuse me, you little fool," she said. "But they're just enjoying their Christmas dinner. And it's such rudeness for our guests that we have invited to shout at the table." You glared back at the wife with an angry look on your face. "I'll show her some manners, Mother," the youngest one said as he put some potatoes from his mouth on a spoon, and he flung the potatoes straight at your face! You teared up as you felt the potatoes on your face and the nasty family laughed at you. "Lovely shot, dear," the wife smirked. Your parents wiped the potatoes off your face, and you cried in their chests. The wife shook her head slowly as she puffed more smoke out. "Young adults shouldn't cry," she said. "It's so embarrassing." You hated this place. You wanted to leave. The boss then got up, and turned on the tv. The news was playing. The weather came on, and said that a snowstorm was coming, and it won't be gone until after Christmas, and that no one should leave their homes. The boys groaned as they heard that. The boss and his wife then excused the boys, and they all ran to their rooms. "There's a spare room for you all...in the attic," he chuckled as he walked off with his wife. You and your family all looked at each other, and sighed. They slowly got up, and they walked up to the attic. When they got there, it all looked so dirty and cluttered. There wasn't even any blankets or pillows or mattresses. They told you that they would be comfortable if they all snuggled together. You nodded, and you all did so. Eventually, you all laid down close together, and you looked out the window. You could see that it was dark outside, and it was snowing out pretty hard. You slowly looked at your parents and said softly, "Merry Christmas...." They smiled a bit, and kissed you good night, and you kissed them back. You then all went to sleep.
