You opened your eyes, and you found yourself in your parents arms again. Your eyes widened and you smiled big as you snuggled between them. You looked out the window, and saw a light blue color. And it seemed that the wind wasn't blowing hard again. The snowstorm seemed to have stopped. The nightmare was over! You smiled warmly, and fell asleep again beside your parents. A few hours later, you saw white light peeking from the window, and you slowly opened your eyes. You yawned, and shook your parents up, telling them that it was Christmas. Your parents eventually woke up, and they smiled slowly as they kissed your head. You then all went down the attic, down the stairs, and into the living room. You made it there first as you didn't see any of the boys nor the boss and his wife anywhere. That was a good thing. But then, you heard yelling and stumbling and grunting coming from upstairs. You looked, and saw the parents dragging their kids down, who appeared to be scared. They didn't want to go down after what happened last night. If that was real.... They flinched as they saw nothing was there. You looked at them, and giggled at how scared and pathetic they looked. The parents on the other hand, had angry, crabby looks on their faces. "Alright alright, let's get this over with," the boss said. Your parents were upset because they slept in the cold, dark attic. And they didn't even ask how they slept! You looked at the fireplace, and saw that there weren't any cracks or holes on it. Meanwhile, the boys scurried under the tree to find their presents. There were lots of presents under the tree. But when they looked in... they threw the presents aside! "None of these presents are mine!" The youngest one said. "Not mine neither!" The medium one said. "Not even one!" The big one said. You slowly looked at the presents. You picked a small one up, and looked at the tag. It had your name on it. It was for you. But how? This wasn't your tree or house. You slowly opened the present, and gasped. It was a snow globe. And in the snow globe...was your house. They boys' jaws dropped as they saw you with your gift. Your parents went beside you, and smiled as you shook the snow globe, and the snow slowly sank down. Your parents looked at the other presents, and saw that they were all for them! You smiled big and held the globe close. The boys immediately looked at their stockings, and dug their hands in to see if there was any surprise gift Santa brought for them. But then...they all slowly took their hands out. You looked at them all, and saw that in their hands...was coal! You covered your mouth and tried hard not to laugh, but instead giggled. The entire naughty made angry scowls at you and your family, and the boss got up, and snatched your snow globe with his huge hand! You gasped and shouted, "Hey! Give me it back!" He stomped toward your parents, and growled. "YOU! YOU WERE RESPONSIBLE FOR THIS! WE INVITED YOU TO OUR HOME! WE FED YOU! WE GAVE YOU A ROOM TO STAY IN!" He roared. "I NEVER SHOULD HAVE INVITED YOU GREMLINS TO OUR HOME! YOU DON'T DESERVE YOUR PROMOTION! IN FACT...YOU'RE FIRED! F-I-R-E-D! FIRED!" Your heart raced as he spat in your parents faces. You then felt anger rush up inside you, and you got up and stomped to him. "DON'T YOU DARE YELL AT MY PARENTS LIKE THAT!" You screamed with all your might. "IT IS NOT MY PARENT'S FAULT THAT YOU BOYS ARE SO NAUGHTY! YOUR KIDS ARE THE WORST KIDS I HAVE EVER MET! I HAVE NEVER MET ANY OTHER JERKS LIKE THESE IN MY LIFE! AND YOU ARE THE WORST OF THEM ALL!" The boss glared at you with his eyes full of rage and fury. Everyone else was shocked. Your parents them got up, and separated you from him. "My child is right sir!" Your parent said. "Your children deserve what they deserve for being how they act. And I never appreciated any of this! I don't need that promotion anymore sir. In fact, you can't fire me. Because I quit!" The boss's eyes widened, and he started to laugh nervously. "Now now. Don't be so hasty, hehe. I-I didn't mean all that. I-In fact, w-we could give you some breakfast. I-I could give you a bigger promotion! A-A raise! A huge one!" As he stuttered, you snatched the snow globe out of his hand, and you and your parents angrily went to the door! "N-NO WAIT! DON'T LEAVE! PLEASE!" Your boss pleaded. Your parents opened the door, left with all their gifts, and slammed the door shut. You then all quickly went to the car, went inside with their gifts, and your parent started the car. The boss ran out and tried to catch up, but he tripped and fell face flat in the snow! You laughed, and so did your parents, and they drove off. Now you couldn't be sure, but right before you couldn't see the boss anymore, you swore that he was being dragged back into the house by someone...and the door slammed shut on its own. You shivered, and looked back at the snow globe. Your parents looked at you and told you how proud they were of you for standing up for them. You smiled and blushed with flattery, but paid attention to your present. You looked in closely, and you saw the face of the hedgehog beast from that nightmare. It looked at you, and winked at you before it disappeared. You shivered a bit, but continued on home with your parents, with a warm smile on your face.
