When Leo returned with Calypso, Percy took a walk with her. "I'm sorry," Percy started, "I feel really bad about not making sure you got released from Ogygia. I understand now why you did it."
Calypso looked at him confused, "What did I do?" she asked.
"When Annabeth and I were in Tartarus we met the arai. You know the arai right? They make curses real when they are destroyed," he said.
Calypso was shocked that Annabeth and Percy had gone to Tartarus and made it out alive and sane. She nodded for him to continue, knowing guiltily that she had cursed Annabeth for having Percy when she couldn't.
"I got all sorts of nasty curses that put me through excruciating pain, but that one you gave Annabeth was by far worse than any I received. She only got two but the first only worsened the second. It almost killed her. The first was blindness, but then she killed a second which revealed that you had cursed Annabeth for being my girlfriend. When she destroyed one of the arai, she received your curse and began to wonder why I left her. I kept trying to tell her I was right there, but every time I got close, she was transported away from me. Do you know how helpless I felt? I kept trying to help her but more and more arai kept coming at me. Eventually, I became too weak to even get to her. And the worst part was when she almost died looking for me. She almost walked off of a cliff, if it wasn't for Bob she would be dead right now," Percy told her getting angry at the end remembering the terrible memories, "Why couldn't you have cursed me instead? She didn't deserve the pain she went through, I did."
With each hateful word Percy said, she felt guiltier and guiltier, now that she had Leo she could only imagine whats sort of pain Percy had felt.
"I'm so sorry Percy! It's just become a sort of a coping method for me to curse everyone who leaves my island, I just thought that this would hurt you like it hurt me... It was wrong of me I know, and I'm really sorry that you had to experience it. I had never felt romantic love before I met Leo and now if I thought that he had to go through what I did to Annabeth... I shudder to even imagine it."
"I forgive you this time but if you ever do that again I will kick your ass for it."
"Thank you, Percy, now can I buy you a coke or something?" Calypso asked.
"Only if it's blue." He responded.
"Deal."

This is the last one shot in this book because I've been drifting away from the Percy Jackson fandom and I know that I never really have time to write anymore. Please go and check out my other books and thanks for reading!
