Sorry Its been over six months

I was standing outside my cave, watching as the sun began to rise over the mountains of Australia seeing all the animals appear from the trees, with their little bundles of joy. A sweet little breeze was blowing and it was serene and very peaceful. I created a little whisp of purple smoke and sent it flying around the little bear cubs and squirrel children. They enjoyed chasing around the little whisp and the parent knew that it would not harm them. A little bear cub approached me getting halfway there before stopping to look back at its parent to check if it was ok. The parent nodded so the cub came forward and  stopped at my feet. I. Touched it under its chin to allow it to speak the same language as i do.

"Excuse me, Lady of Spring, but why are only the big ones allowed to play with the purple whisp?" Asked the little bear cub.

"Well, little one, your mother has taught you very well, but i am just Spring. And as for your question, I don't see why they are. How about you and your friends can play with this." As i replied to his question, i created a second purple whisp for the bear cub and his friends as it really wasn't fair how only the elder ones played with my whisp. Everything was like always, though this time there was a little stronger wind. I just ignored it as I liked to let him run wild so i thought nothing of it. Then I noticed that the wind wasn't just stronger it was colder as well. The sky darkened and the creatures retreated back into the woods in fear. I stood my ground waiting to see what would happen. Nothing happened. That was the problem, the sky stayed dark, the animals didn't return and Wind was at my side. I tried to blow the clouds away, but it wasn't clouds creating the darkened sky, it was magic. I also knew that if Wind was at my side, then there would be no wind anywhere. I retreated back into my cave with my son, and we sat down on the earth. This was the safest place and i knew that all the animals would be ok as te darkness, as i had named it, was only after me. I picked up my cup of water and stared into the fire. I realised what would happen, the darkness would strike the other elementals. That meant it wasn't only me. Which means that i had to warn them about the darkness though i had no worries that they might be vulnerable and undefeated. The only question left was which elemental would be next.

I knew it wasn't going to be Fire next, so i turned away from mine, knowing i could probably warn him later, as he was neither the same gender as me or the same ageing as me. I put down my cup and went to get my map. I decided to try to contact Water next as on my map, she was closest to me. I thought i might also want to call Water because Fire messes around with 'protection' equipment all the time, and Water would probably not listen to me in time if i  called her later considering it could be her next. I picked up my cup, but I didn't call her straight away. I thought about the last time I saw the other Elementals. It had been over 2000 years. That was when we decided to be called Air, Water, Earth and Fire, because it was safer than using our real names. I looked at my cup and swirled it round above the cup till it made a screen. Then i called Water.
