A/N To any critics out there, I'd appreciate if you actually read the chapter instead of leave an unreasonably long and embarrassing rant on my comments section. I'm totally open to criticism (but don't be a douchebag about it alright?) and yes I'm trying to get better, but it's hard for me because of my hugely increased workload and I also fall asleep and/or lose the urge to write much easier. You would understand when you reach your last year before university.

[Jesse]

I sat on the beach towel and tried not to get caught staring at the half-naked blond who sat mere inches away from me. Nell, my girlfriend of four months, stunned in her green two-piece bathing suit, as if those sapphire eyes, her wavy hair, and her goofy surfer lingo and accent wasn't attractive enough already. She just gazed out towards the horizon which the Sun was just about to set below. The sky's ambient orange tint was gently becoming replaced with a dark blueish shade as night became closer and closer.

"It's totes beautiful ain't it babe?" said Nell, turning to face me with a grin. "Just you, me, watchin' a wicked sunset."

"Yeah, really is," I responded, turning and making eye contact with the girl, and trying oh so hard not to stare at her curves. "I'm really happy you invited me to come with you, it's beautiful out here... life away from noisy cities, you could just unwind and..." I them became lost for words.

"Uhm... chillax? Go swimmin' 'til it's dark? Watch a sunset with your GF?" suggested Nell. "Dunno dude, I'm runnin' out here." I must admit, even I didn't know how to end the sentence, so I responded with a simple shrug, and Nell sighed, and placed her slightly sandy hand on top of mind. "You're totes welcome babe. Anythin' to get away from every'un else just to be with 'lone with you."

"And with you too," I responded, flipping my hand over and clasping hers. "I love you baby..."

Nell giggled and replied "Love ya too" before engaging me in a warm and gentle kiss. As this happened, the Sun finally set below the distant islands, the orange colour had receded, and the blueish shade was now dominating the sky above us. Slowly and slowly, the stars had began to shine above us, until the sky was literally full of them.

We broke away and laid down, hand-in-hand, and watched as the night sky became glittered with millions and millions of bright white spots. I lifted my head up to look at Nell, she literally had the entire night sky captured in her eyes, and nothing could stop me from just gazing into them, it was as if I was gazing into another universe. Soon I laid back down and continued to gaze up.

"Wow... we don't get such rad views in town don't we?" she said.

"With all the street lighting and skyscrapers, not a chance," I replied, raising my finger to point towards the large white crescent in the sky. "Luna sure is beautiful from down here..." Nell slowly turned to face me with an unamused glare, "~but not as beautiful as you Nell, I- I'm not implying-"

"Hehe, chillax brah, I get it, I get it, just messin' widya!" she laughed, punching me in the shoulder. I winced and rubbed the area where she punched me, then we went back to stargazing. Suddenly Nell burst out and darted her finger up to point. "Look! A shootin' star!"

"Hm?" I quickly turned to where she was pointing, and I smiled broadly when I saw that magnificent streak across the sky, when it really was just a clump of dust or rock burning up in our atmosphere. "Well make a wish then!"

"Okie okie okie okie," she mumbled in excitement, then letting off a few mm's um's as she decided, then finally going with, "I wish I had a boyfriend who would marry me, and raise kids with me, and grow old with me, and-" she stopped rambling upon noticing I was leering at her, and blushed and felt itchy all over, "Oh... forgot that wish was already granted... I hope..."
