Hey You Can't Use My Love For You Against Me!

"Wait you've never done laser tag?"

"Jan I've lived in Kenya my whole life there is no laser tag there!"

"I know...god you've missed out on so much. Damien and I used to go to laser tag like every weekend."

"What even is laser tag?"

"Okay that's it we are going to laser tag."

"When?"

"Now"

Cady laughs. "What? I'm letting you miss out on the best part of my childhood."

"Fine I'll go grab my shoes" She says peeling herself off of the couch.

I follow her pulling on my own shoes and grabbing my keys. As we get in the car I quickly google the nearest laser tag place and then we are off.

"Okay, Janis I have no idea what we are doing."

"They will teach you don't worry."

"Okay"

We head inside hand-in-hand.

"You're going to live this"

"Okay"

After we watch the video explaining the rules we head in and gear up.

"We should be on opposite teams" Cady suggests.

"Fine by me. I can't wait to beat your ass."

"Not if I beat you first."

I laugh. "Sure.."

I quickly compose a plan.

The game begins and I hide in a corner, waiting for Cady to pass, shoring random kids as they also walk pass my my hiding spot.

Finally Cady passes by I grab her arms and pull her into the shadows.

"He-" I presses my hand over her mouth and she licks my hand in protest.

"Ewwww!" I shout.

Cady raises her gun.

"Don't shoot, don't shoot!" I whisper shout putting down my own gun.

She raises her eyebrow in question. "Why did you pull me back here?"

"To do this." I say before kissing her.

She instantly melts to my kids dropping her gun...just like I had planed. I move my foot scooping up my gun and bringing it to my hand still kissing Cady. I press the gun to her sensor and fire.

The light on her vest goes out and I laugh.

"Hey! You can't use my love for you against me!"

"Oh yeah?" I say, still laughing. " 'Cause I think I just did"
