Fall of the Asylum

One dark night,in a city,a scout of police were roaming around the streets,checking if there's suspicious trepasser nearby.One of the police suddenly smells some smoke.He immediately call the backup and rushed to the place.It was an asylum that was half-building that burn to the ground.There were explosion marks everywhere.

The police,with some courage in him went into the burning entrance to find and help the remaining people in the building.When he enters the building,the place look a lot like hell.The paints and other hanging things on the wall were all burnt and torn up with some human scratch marks in it.The glass counter for the service were smashed and shattered on the floor.Some of the path were blocked by pillars and furnitures;as if there's someone or something didn't want to let the remaining people to escape.

Then,the police heard some screaming coming from upstairs.He search his way to get up there.He parkour the places a bit and get through the blocking path easily.He then rushed to the upper floor to find the remaining people.He found some people that dressed in a lab coat,assuming that they're the psychiatrists.He showed them the way out of the building and send some of his backups to the place.When the help arrives,they bought the people safe and fast.

When the police were about to go along with them,he heard someone shouting.He follows the sound and it led him to the patience rooms.It was a horrifying thing to watch.There were bloods everywhere.Some of it splattered on the wall.Most of it were almost covering the floor.But not only all of that he sees.His face full with horror as he sees some dead bodies on the floor.Most of it were psychiatrists than the patiences.He couldn't handle the odor smell for too long.He immediately rush to the sound and finally arrives at the place.

He sees a psychiatrist,making an attempt to kill a patient,a kid with a gun on his hand.The kid was about the age of 7 and his hair is so messy and long that it completely covers both of his eyes.The police taze the psychiatrist,making him fall.The kid,putting down the gun while trembled with fear rush to the police and hold him tight.The police then bought the kid while grabbing the psychiatrist outside and report him immediately to the police station.On the outside,the firemen pulls out the fire and helping the people that trapped in the place while the ambulance bought some of the people that got injured to the hospital.

The next day,the police report was on the news describing about what happened to the building.They're assuming that the building was caught on fire accidentally.They didn't found any evidence on the people who started nor causing the fire to happen.All of the innocence witness that trapped in the inccident have been returned home safely,only less of them didnt survive.The police also assuming that the reason a fire was started in the first place was to burn the evidence which involve with murders that was reported by the police himself.The psychiatrist that possibly the one they assumed to start this crime and making a murder attempt on a kid were sentenced to 20 years in the prison without any possible parol.Years have passed and the asylum was forgotten once and for all.

On one Monday morning,Jon was cleaning his friends room because Eduardo told him to.When he was cleaning Todd's room,he found an old match box at one of his drawer.He examine the match.The front of it was dull due to some burning while the matches weren't able to lit any fire anymore since it was already old look like have been already used before."Jon,what are you doing in my room?"Jon shocked.He turn his back and sees Todd look at him,smiling to him.Jon then showed him the match box and ask what did he use it for."I mean like,we don't do any campfires or whatsoever activities that includes any fire. Did you use this somewhere before?"

Todd stare at the match box for a while.He then take back the match box from Jon's hand and politely answer,"Ehhh...you only use this just in case that you want to burn something or someplace that you don't need to or belong anymore;this thing is my private friend."He then put back the match box in the drawer and smile creepily to Jon,"It had helped me destroy something in the past."The silent surrounds the room,making Jon's back chill more than ever.
