Laura's POV.
Its been three weeks into December and its almost Christmas.Vanessa is sleeping over my house for the holidays. So we decided to go out and buy a Christmas tree since we already have the decorations. Vanessa's in the shower and I'm getting dressed up. I picked out a red sunflower print dress. And some white flats. I headed to the bathroom and knocked on the door. "Vanessa are you ready, your taking forever." I said banging on the door. "Okay okay gosh I'm ready!" She said opening the door. "Finally!" I said. I grabbed my purse and phone and walked out the door to the car. I grabbed the keys out of my purse and handed them to Vanessa. "Your driving." I gave them to her and hoped into the car. She got in, started the car and looked at me. "Why do i have to drive?" Vanessa questioned. "Because I'm huge and ill keep on hitting the baby with the wheel every once in a while." I said in a duh tone. "Fine." She sighed.

15 minutes later they arrive at their destination
Vanessa's POV.
We arrived at some Christmas place that Laura told me about. She said there's tiny little Christmas trees that look super cute. Pft i doubt that. So i just let her pick the tree while i was in my own little world, on my phone. I was texting a friend that i met a couple months ago. We cant visit each other's houses since i live in Florida. I forgot where my friend lives i think it was L.A. Ugh whatever. Laura called me over to go check out this tree she found. "So what did you want me to see." I said looking up from my phone. "Look at this tree its small, but not too small its the right size. I want this one." She said with joy. "Okay." I handed her the money. "Go buy it, i'll wait in the car." I said texting on my phone. "Okay." she said. I walked to the car and hoped into the drivers seat. I turned on the car and let it warm up. I told my friend to call me later and with that we stopped talking.
Laura's POV.
Ever since we got here to buy a Christmas tree Vanessa has been on her phone a lot lately. I wonder who she's talking to? Whatever ill just let this one pass by. I bought the tree and one of the staff members helped me carry it to the car. I thanked him and entered the passengers seat. "So, you ready." I told her. "Yup, lets go home." She said. A couple minutes later we arrived at the house. "Get the tree and bring it in the house." I told her. "Fine." She dragged the tree into the house and put it in the corner of the room. "Ugh..this is so.. heavy!" She said setting the tree in the corner. "Im gonna go wash my hands, be right back I'm going to the bathroom." She said putting her purse on the table. Eww her hands where dirty. "Okay." I replied back. I went to the kitchen got some ice cream and right when i was about to sit down on the couch the phone rang. I thought it was my phone but no it was Vanessa's so i picked it up anyways.
