Alex is a young school boy and is on a family holiday, even though his family is very abusive he still went with them. Well he had no choice really! Sadly his family are adoptive. His parents died when he was young and got given to the Harrisons when he was around eight. He never really liked Mr and Mrs Harrison and their daughter, Emily, anyway... So he ran away. Until, one day he fell and found himself in front of a harp...

He had just ran away from his family and where they were staying. He had blue, purple and black bruises all over his body. Alex wanted to run into town, but he knew he shouldn't. Lots of people knew him. But only from being the weird and bullied boy at school. So Alex decided to ran into the forest. Besides, no one would be there. Or so he thought..... Before he ran away he made sure he took plenty of food to eat. However, only for the first day, or two. As he made his way into the forest he took a bite out of the crimson red apple he had in his hand. The rest of the food, a blanket, pillow and a change of clothes were in his school bag. He took a few steps forward. Suddenly he fell down, the hard, grey ground rushing up to meet him. He got up slowly, assessing his pain. A few scratches on his face, arms and legs, but otherwise alright. However, when he stood up, he fell back down with an almost cat-like grace to him, black spots overtaking his vision. Just like that. He blacked out.

When Alex woke up, he was very dazed, he looked behind himself, his vision still a bit blurry. Alex then noticed that he did indeed fall over. He stumbled on some stones. Alex then heard a noise. He stood up and glanced in front of himself. In front of him there was a white enchanted harp with golden strings! Just playing! By itself!? Alex was extremely confused. Very confused indeed. Alex was in awe of this harp that he was staring at it for ages! He didn't even notice, that it had started to become dusk. (Night)

"W-W-What? How long have I been here for?" Alex asked himself. A slight breeze was whistling through the forest. "I need to find out who plays this magical harp..." Alex said before he felt a rush of goosebumps exploring his bare skin. His teeth chattering. He pulled out a dark blue jersey out of his bag and pulled it over his head and along his arms. He looked around his surroundings for thick tree branches. He could probably make a little place to sleep in. He eventually found some branches, collected them and then angled them in a way that all tops were pointed up towards the dark blue, almost black, night sky. He walked inside his little 'hut' and pulled out a warm, fuzzy blanket. "I knew I would need this, at some point!" Alex laughed at himself. He then got changed, and got comfortable he grabbed out a piece of hot meat, wrapped in tinfoil. Then gobbled it up. He started to read one of his books he bought along, but, he then fell asleep due to tiredness.

When Alex woke up the next day, he was a bit hungry (not surprisingly). So he pulled out another apple. A green apple and an egg sandwich from earlier. He took a bite. "Hmmm. This is delicious!" He cried to himself. He then got dressed and walked outside his little 'hut' and decided to get another look at that harp that he saw yesterday. Alex grabbed his bag, chucked it on his back, then walked towards the river, the water clear as can be. He looked down in the river. It looked like there was little crystals in the water, shining and smiling up at him. Then he was some light grey stones rise from the river. The water trailing of the sides and top of them. "What? How did that happen?" He asked himself and mainly the river.

Alex's P.O.V

I took a step toward the first stone and leaped to the next. Then to the next and then the one after that. I eventually reached the last stone and was about to jump. I then slipped. "Woah!" I yelled. I caught my foot and regained my balance. I jumped to the little 'island', where the enchanted harp was. I took a step towards the harp. It was just in front of me. I could feel eyes all around and on me, although I knew I was alone. Well other than the forest animals. (Of course!) After all, this is their forest. Not mine. Or so I thought...
