Alex's P.OV
She asked what my name was, I said what is was and asked her the same question. Annelise, that's her name. The name really suits her. An angel like her. The name suits her a lot! "Do you live by yourself?" I asked her. "Yes. Sadly I do. My mother died when I was ten. I never knew my father..." She whispered the last part. "Do you?" she asked. "Not really. I ran away from my family." I explained. "Are they mean to you?" She asked with a sorrow look in her eyes. "Ya. They were pretty mean to me..." I sighed and looked down. "You poor thing!" She hugged me. She was pretty hesitant at first, but then relaxed. After she let go I asked her a question. "Do you have any friends?" I asked her, looking into her eyes. Those eyes. As blue as a summer sky. I could of got lost in them if I wanted to. "No. Nobody ever comes to this part of the forest. Well, other that you of course!" She laughed. "Well. Do you want to be my friend?" I asked. "Yes!" She cried and gave me a huge hug. "Can't breath!" I choked. "Opps. Sorry!" She apologised, a hand over her mouth. It started curving into a smile. "You're alright!" I laughed. We looked at each other, a look of delight on our faces. Everything was perfect just for that moment..
For the rest of the day, one human being and one magical angel, sat side by side on a tree branch, looking the the tone of wondrous wildlife of the forest. For the first time in years, since her mother died, Anelise was happy, she had someone to talk too, well, other that the forest animals of course. She'd talk with the magical animals any time of any day. Annelise and Alex had the start of a beautiful friendship, or maybe, even, something more...
