We're birds of a feather.
So similar to each other.
Smiles so blinding and shiny,
Laughs so full and happy.
We are so alike.
We don't mind going on hikes
To temples so far away
Or to someone across the bay.
You were older
You were the only one
The only one who understood.
Someone I could talk to.
So thank you.
We find comfort
Knowing that we were lucky
To have someone to talk to
And connect too
So thank you.
Thank you for everything
We are truly birds of a feather
My father's brother
And may we flock together.
