Winter of 2048 a baby boy was born in Manhattan, New York. He was 5 pounds and the woman had no idea who the father was. She got pregnant at a bar while she was drunk and the baby daddy wasnt there in the morning. So on this day when the little bow was born she smiled brightly down at him.
"What would you like to name him?" The nurse asks
The woman thinks "Carter" She says "Carter Alexander Robertson"
The nurse walks out.
"Hey Carter!" The woman says quietly and brightly "Even though i don't know who your daddy is, I'm going to be the best mom in the world"
And she was. She loved him a lot. When he came home crying on the first day of school, she bought him ice cream, when he went through the clingy to mom stage she held him, and when he found out he was a demigod she protected him. He was the son of the Roman god Vulcan, god of fire, the forge, and blacksmiths. She even drove him to the Roman camp for demigods herself in California; Camp Jupiter! He's a strong 15 year old now and will soon be traveling to the Greek camp; Camp Half-Blood for a meeting. He's the Praetor believe it or not! He's got a face you can trust and a way with words like you couldn't believe. All the people they're meeting with at the camp are old campers though. One names Coral, one named Kenjii, and One named Percy. He knew of Percy around here but if they're old campers why are they still there? Is it just for this meeting? He isn't sure but he cant wait to go!
