I'm still coughing up blood when I hear the door open.
"Caleb????!!!! Are you okay????" It was Coral's voice
I cough up more blood not being able to answer. She comes over and sits down next to me on the floor. I cough up a little more blood then no more comes out but im still coughing. I lean against the wall next to Coral and curl up in a ball. I glance up and Kenjii is standing in the doorway too. She comes over and sits down so I curl close to her and rest me head on her shoulder.
"Caleb? Whats up with all the blood you were coughing up?" Coral says
"N-nothing just uh not feeling well I guess" I say
"Maybe this is why you were at the hospital!" Kenjii says
I shake my head.
"Liar! Seriously whats wrong?" Kenjii asks
"N-nothing! Can I have my phone?"
Coral goes and gets it from the floor where I left it and hands it to me.
"What are you doing?" Coral asks
"Gonna call Jason. Soph cant drive so yeahhhh"
"We are taking you!" Kenjii says grabbing my arm and shadow traveling to the hospital. I get checked back in and Coral and Kenjii wait in the waiting room while I go back to my room. Oh I missed my posters! I get told to get in bed so I do.
"So what happened?" The nurse asks bringing needles filled with my medicine in.
"Uh just coughed up a little blood" I say
"By the look of how pale you are im guessing a little more than a little blood?"
I nod
"At the moment you are too weak for chemo so im gonna give you your medicine."
She injects me with a bunch of needles and walks out. Kenjii and Coral walked in.
"Spill it!" Kenjii said looking around.
I say nothing
"You obviously live here from all the posters on the walls!" Coral said
"So spill it!" Kenjii said
"I-I-I I have cancer.
