Hunter leaves to go show Mia the video and I'm left alone. I get a phone call and I look to see who it is. Its Coral! I answer the phone.
"Hello?" I say
"Hey Caleb whats up?" She says
"Uh nothing much just woke up!"
"Its like 11!"
"I was tired!"
"Mm hm..... Wanna come get ice cream?"
"uh yeah s- sure let me ask my mom k?"
"Okay just put the phone down!" She says
I put the phone down and get in my wheelchair. I go down to the nurse's station and beg them to let me go! After what seemed like hours of begging they said I could go as long as I'm back by dinner which is usually at 6:00. I go back to my room and pick the phone up.
"Coral you still there?" I ask
"Took ya long enough!!" She replied
"Uh sorry I can go but have to be back by six k?"
"Yay!!!! Okay can you meet me there?"
"Yeah sure!"
"Kk! Bye sparky!" She hangs up. Lucky for me the ice cream place isn't to far from here so I can walk. Yes I said walk cuz im gonna act like nothins wrong! I walk to the ice cream place and Coral is standing out front.
"Oh my gods Caleb! You look terrible are you okay!?" She says
I nod "What do you mean?"
"Youre really pale and look thinner"
"Neh im fine"
"Hmm okay" She walks in. I feel a little light headed due to what happened when I woke up this morning. She orders her cookies n cream and I get vanilla. We sit down at the same booth we always sit at.
"So where ya been?" She asks while eating
"Uh my aunts house...." I lie
"Hm okay.... why weren't Sophie and Molly there too?"
"Dunno....."
"Okay!" She finishes her ice cream and I haven't even started mine yet because I don't want it. I push mine to her.
"You don't want it! Its you favorite though!" she says
"Not that hungry...."
"Okay!" She starts eating it
