41 - 2nd Part

Zhang Shi has just started explaining Da Qing about the girl's condition, when his phone started ringing.

"Chief, Haxingjian has just called a immediate meeting.
The head of Xindu bureau will be there too. The car is waiting outside the SID right now. "
Yei Chan said with a guarded voice.

"Ask Senior Guo to get ready to go with me. I will be there within 15 minutes. "
With that Zhang Shi ended the call.

" Cong Bo, you can stay here with Da Qing and can take the statements from both mother and daughter. I have to attend to a meeting right now."

Both Cong Bo and Da Qing nodded their heads.

Cheif took a taxi back to his office. He was too minutes later than the said time. Senior Guo was waiting outside the office for him.

He got off the taxi and motioned Senior Guo towards the waiting car.

Old Chu is pissed. He was planning to ask for a dinner out with Little Guo today. He was just making the platform for the request when cheif Zhao stated that little Guo will be going with him.
He feels like these cheifs are freaking nightmares. The old one was too playful and this one is too strict. But both managed to ruin his moments with Little Guo without a doubt.

Senior Guo is feeling very uncomfortable. Whenever he gets near the new cheif this happens.

It's not that he is afraid of this chief. Sure, the new cheif is far more calm and collected than the former one. But still, he missed Cheif Zhao 's nasty comments and protective behaviour.

They reached the Haxingjian and saw the secretary Gao waiting impatiently out there for them. Both exited the car  and went to greet him.

"Chief Zhao, I am afraid that you can't take your subordinate with you inside the meeting room. Officer Guo can wait inside the waiting room "

Secretary Gao stated politely. Cheif Zhao nodded his head and gestured Senior Guo towards the waiting room while staring towards the meeting room.

His chief would never have abandoned him like that nor he would have asked little Guo to attend to a such a private meeting like that. Little Guo tried to clear his mind and looked around the waiting room. Just white walls staring at him. Minutes passed. He felt his phone ringing.

"Little Guo,is master Zhao with you? "
He instantly recognised his uncle's voice.

"Aren't he with you? Secretary Gao have just escorted him to the meeting room I think. "

"He came here but instantly left saying he needs to tell you something important. Now it has been 15 minutes. Still he is not back. He doesn't respond to his phone. "

"Well, I have no idea where he is " Little Guo said with a little hesitation.

"Ok then, let me know if he comes back "

with that his uncle cut the call.
Little Guo wonders what's happening.

Director Zhao looks impatient. He has some important issues regarding Dixing to be discussed.

Cheif Zhang is staring at himself in the rest room mirror.
When he got into the meeting room, he saw Director Zhao sitting at the head of the table. He went there to shake hands with him. As soon as there hands touched, he felt himself flowing, a sudden dizziness. He immediately faked an apology and left the room. Now he is staring at the mirror.

He can't directly point out what's wrong with him.
But there is something struggling in his mind. It's like his seventh sense is opened .
He can't focus on his work. He sometimes relies on his senses than reality . Today was the worst . He could not make up his mind to look at director Guo. He felt like he was going to say or do something very very wrong. So, he simply left the room.
