"No you don't understand!" Jasmine yelled

"Okay okay.." I tried to calm her down, genuinely trying to understand the predicament. "So basically, you were having this petty fantasy about.."

"Life awakening dream" Jasmine interjected.

"Life awakening dream" I corrected with an eye roll. "About a guy who you think is of my calibre and surprisingly man enough to rock my world?" I questioned.

"Oh Paris it was soo much more than that. He was as refreshing as the cool breeze on a dry day but at the same time as fiery as the Sun that"

"Jasmine, so help me God if you don't cut the damn crap and get to the reason for waking me up in the middle of the night I'll show you something more fiery than the sun" I snapped.

"Ok fine. I finally found the man of your dreams but I woke up before seeing his face" she cried.

"Good! cause I already feel like killing both of you and he's not even real. I've already told you Jas, men are dogs and not even the cute breed. It's the last time I'm rushing into your room when you scream. Now if you're done wasting my time I'm going back to bed" I stood up walking out of her room fixing my bun as I kept tugging at it during Jasmine's episode as that was the only way I could manage to keep my sanity.

"I can feel your hearrrrtttt bleeding... I can see right through your chest" Jasmine sang after me not only off key but without a doubt using inaccurate words.

"Here we go again." I face palmed.
"Goodnight Jas!" I tried to yell over her singing fully aware that she cannot hear me.

I promptly crossed the tiled passage separating our rooms and hopped into bed grabbing my phone hoping it's early enough to go for a walk.

A little after 10 p.m. I guess I have time for a quick walk. I let down my long black hair so that it cascaded down my back and changed into a black T-shirt and shorts. I slipped my phone into my back pocket, threw on my jogging shoes and made my way to the front door without bothering to tell Jasmine I'm leaving. It's not like she could hear me over her horrendous singing anyway.

As I stepped out onto the front porch the cool breeze caressed my skin soothingly and I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

I made it outside into the relaxing air while emptying my mind. Unsure of my destination, I let my feet lead me wherever they please.

I walked for what seemed like hours but in reality was just 30 minutes until I stumbled on a narrow dirt road that had nicely trimmed flowers and bushes on either side.

I've been on multiple late night strolls but oddly enough I've never come across this road.

My curiosity peaked and before my brain could register what my body was doing, I was already half way down the winding path.

I could only hear water roaring in the distance as an atmosphere of silence enveloped me.

I approached the source of what sounded like a waterfall and halted at a fence with a sign reading 'PRIVATE PROPERTY. TRESPASSERS WILL BE PROSECUTED' .

Oh well, it's not like I have any thing special planned for tomorrow. Just work and that can always wait.

My adventurous side kicked in and I carefully climbed over the wooden fence. The property can't be that private if they made it this easy to get pass the fencing. I made my way through the trees and stood speechless as I came upon the most magical sight imaginable.

I stood in awe admiring every miniscule detail and intricate design of the beautiful waterfall when a huge splash sounded in the water below and my focus was immediately drawn to a rock hard chest with beads of water decorating it. My eyes gravitated to the few droplets of water trickling down to an exquisite stomach laced with abs. The water was waist high so unfortunately the magnificent visual was limited, leaving my eyes with no other choice but to freely roam from the waist of the stranger back up to his perfect chest.

I didn't think I could possibly be more impressed but I stood corrected when my eyes found his face and I couldn't hold my outburst anymore.

"Daayyyuuummmm!" I exclaimed but my hands flew to quickly cover my mouth when the stranger's eyes met mine.

"Hey you!" Someone yelled and my eyes snapped to four bulky men dressed in black suits quickly making their way over to me with guns drawn." I quickly bolted the direction I came and flew over the wooden fence throwing caution to the wind.

My shoe lace got caught in the fence and I felt the wind being knocked out of me as I came crashing face first to the floor.

"Stop!" One of the men shouted as heavy footsteps approached.

I quickly got up and ran breathlessly until I could feel beads of sweat forming on my forehead. My heart pounded roughly against my chest and I felt like I was going to pass out any second.

I made it back to the main road and ran hastily to the direction of my house not once looking back.

I lost track of how long I've been running as I tried my utmost best to stay focused on the priority at hand. Saving my nosey ass.

Finally seeing my house in the distance assisted me with mustering up the strength I needed to press on and I dashed across the lawn onto our front porch.

I only paused to catch my breath after I was safely inside the house and the door was slammed shut. I slid onto the floor trying to control my breathing and only then did I realize that I was wearing one foot of shoe.

Jasmine came rushing in the living room swinging a mop. "I'm harmed and dangerou- oh" she cut her statement midway "it's only you. where did you go?"

"I went for a walk" I replied breathlessly.

"Sounds more like you went for a run with an entire train filled with overweight people strapped to your feet" she snickered to herself.

I've learned over the years that the best way to remain sane around Jas is to ignore her. So I did. "I trespassed onto a private property and saw the sexiest man any human has ever gotten the privilege of beholding but got shot at by four unsexy ones in the process". I summarized while exaggerating a little.

"Really!" Jas exclaimed sitting across from me on the floor "Tell me more. Is he tall, is he cute. Did you see his face?" She asked excitedly while blatantly ignoring the part about me getting shot at.

"I think he's tall, yes he's super cute and yes I saw his face " I answered honestly this time. "Did you happen to catch the part about me being shot at?" I inquired.

She started jumping with excitement "I heard but you're not dead so let's focus on the real issue at hand. If you saw his face, then what's the problem?"

"He also saw mine."
