"oh for the love of!!" I was gonna say until an ax came flying my way "ahh!!" I jump out of the way to land face first in the snow only to see a set of four feet "um?" I was going to speak until I got picked up by my cloak "who are you and why do you follow us." I stayed quiet luckily my hood was still on.
"Maybe they can't hear you father with that hood on their head." " Maybe you are right boy."
"no no no he isn't right don't!!" I yelled in my head. but it was too late my hood came off.
"excuse me could you please put me down, sir," I said in a nervous and shy voice. "why do you
follow us girl." his voice was so deep it startled me "um I have no home?" I said unsure but still terrified of this giant man. "hm." he let go of my cape hood "ow. that hurt"
Atreus p.o.v
Me and father were about to go follow the deer until we heard crack behind us "father do you
think it's an enemy?" I asked him "I do not know." before I could ask another question
father threw his ax "ahh!" "Well, that sounded like a human?" "it could be let us see boy."
I followed father to the sound only to see him, holding something "excuse me could you please put me down." father had dropped the strange looking girl on her back.
"ow! that hurt!" she screamed at father but he simply ignored me. "I'm sorry for my father." I said helping her to her feet. "it's fine I'm used to that kind of feeling anyways." she said dusting the snow off of her. I looked at her eyes they were two different colors.
"your eyes are two different colors? that's unusual." I told her while standing there.
"yeah I get told that a lot," she said smiling at me. "my name is Ase and you are?" she asked giving me a smiling "my name is Atreus."
"BOY we do not have time to waste let us go." father told me.
"I'm coming father we'll be going now."
