START LEAVING COMMENTS PLEASE

I ran down the stairs and kneeled down beside his body as he laid there lifelessly. "C'mon get up. Get up. Stop playing" I cried a loud slapping his face. But he wasn't breathing.

"Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!" I yelled loudly before running upstairs to the room. I paced back and forth freaking out because I didn't know what to do.

I grabbed my phone.

9-1-1

I looked at it and cleared the number then called Xavier instead. It rang and rang and rang.

"Pick up pick up pick up" I said over and over pacing back and forth.

"Hello?" He answered.

"Xavier!" I exclaimed once he finally answered "I fucked up g. I fucked up!" I cried into the phone.

"What's wrong?" Xavier questions. "Where you at?"

"He's dead. I killed him! I fucking killed him!" I just kept repeating myself as I cried.

"Where are you? Share your location with me"

"Please hurry" I tell him before hanging up the phone. I shared my location with him and sat down on the floor. I waited for what seemed like forever for Xavier to make it here. I heard knocking on the door and then I ran downstairs. I didn't think twice about it I just opened the door.

Xavier walked in along with two other guys behind him. They walked over to the body and just looked down at him.

"What happened?" One of the guys asked me.

"I couldn't breathe but he wouldn't stop choking me so I hit him and he fell down the stairs" I cried.

"Does anybody know you were here?" Xavier asks me and I shake my head. "Did y'all text each other and make these plans" I shake my head again.

"Cool. Make it look like a break in" Xavier says before all three of them dispersed.

"Stay right here" Xavier tells me and I nod my head.

I sat there looking at Dante's body just lying there on the ground for what seemed like forever. I could not wrap my head around what had just happened. I was just in shock. Less than 5 minutes later Xavier came back "C'mon let's go"

Xavier and I walked out the house. I went to his car and got inside. He drove away from the house "Sooo what happened?" He asked looking over at me.

I couldn't talk. I couldn't move. I just sat there staring blankly out the window.

"You good?" Xavier asks reaching over grabbing my hand. I shake my head no.

"It wasn't your fault. You were just defending yourself" Xavier adds on. There was a silence in the car. The only thing I could hear was my own heart beat.

I was just so scared. I've never seen a dead body unless it was a funeral yet alone the body of someone I basically murdered. I'm too young to spend my life in jail.

"I'm not even supposed to be in town right now but I don't want to leave you like this." X pulls up in front of my house putting the car in park.
