Hey, guys!

For those of you who don't know, I'm HK, (as of December 2018) a 13 year old, chocolate and Pentatonix loving girl that was born in India, but who has lived in the states for most of her life.

I love music and shows and books that have multiple genres at once. Like the Throne of Glass series. And what I am most know for on Wattpad, the obsessive show, Miraculous Ladybug.

You may wonder how a TV crime drama, a fantasy book series, and an animated show are at all similar. In all honesty, they're all actually very much alike.

All have humor, drama, mystery, and action. But most importantly, they all have two oblivious idiots who continue to chase each other in circles and frustrate me greatly.

This is my first Tiva or NCIS fanfiction, and it's written mostly for Sapphire1318 and NoDontDoubtSpeak.

Ziva David could remember many emotions she had seen on her partner's face.

She remembered their first encounter, when a fidgeting Tony DiNozzo had looked uncomfortable and embarrassed in her presence. She remembered his emptiness at  Kate's death, even with his efforts to hide it. She remembered when he lost Jeanne Benoit, the sadness and quiet longing on his face as he stared at her letter. She remembered the defeat, the self-blame in his expression after Jenny's death, and she remembered the happiness that she had often seen after his and EJ's newfound relationship. She remembered all the emotions she had found in his face, generally about a female. Whether the specified emotion was platonic or not.

But not often she had seen this deep, philosophical side of him. Not often had she seen the introspective, serious Tony.

And never had it made her feel quite like this.

Thought she wasn't quite sure what 'this' was.

Not wanting to climb into treacherous territory, she instead chose to break the silence that had fallen over them.

"So, EJ is...gone, huh?" She said, trying for an air of nonchalance.

Luckily, Tony didn't seem to notice, and he kept his gaze down as he responded. "And safe. For a change."

"May I ask where?"

"Someplace quiet," he said distractedly, messing with his sunglasses. "With someone she can count on. Hopefully." He tacked on the last word a bit belatedly, and she recognized worry as one of the many emotions visible on his face.

She sighed, loosing a breath through her nose. "That is the word, is it not? Hopefully." She paused and he nodded absently as she tried to zip up her jacket, swallowing a bit before continuing. "Even when you think you can trust someone, you often cannot."

She looked back down at her jacket, but when she looked up again, she met Tony's cautious eyes watching her as he spoke, his words catching her a bit off guard. "Do I detect a blip on the Ray-dar?"

"I would rather not discuss it."

Tony returned his gaze to his hands. "Well, at least EJ and I parted friends." He said, making a "sort of" motion with his hands. She felt him look up again. "Agent Cruz seems to have, uh, communication issues."

"Yeah, and I have lost my patience," She quipped. (Changed that on purpose!)

"As you well should," He agreed.
