You wake up to the sound of rain pattering on the windows. You slowly open you eyes as you remembered you were still at your desk, sleeping on your books and pieces of paper with writing all over it. You lift your head up to look around. You spot your digital clock from the other side of your bed room. '11:32' it said. You widen your eyes being absolutely shocked. You rub your eyes to make sure you're not seeing things. You look at it again. '11:33' it said. You jolt out of your seat and run to the clock.

"No, no, no!" You say as you put your hands on your head, what a great day it is, not even 10 minutes into your day and already stressed. Haha.

You groan and angrily stomp down the stairs.

"Well, good morning to you." Your mother chuckled as she placed her mug on the table.

"Why didn't you wake me up? I'm late for school for christ's sake!" You squealed at her.

She picks up her mug and takes a sip.

"Not my problem, darling." She grinned.

You mumble to yourself as you stomp back into your room, slamming the door.

Well, there's no point of going to school now. You thought, falling onto your bed.

You layed there for a good solid 5 minutes just thinking and listening to the rain. You look over to your desk, you still haven't finished the assignment you promised you'd finish a week ago. You got up and went over to your desk, it had books, pens and pieces of paper scattered on the surface. You sigh and pick up a piece of paper, reading what you wrote. You cringed and placed it back on the desk.

I should go and study somewhere. You thought to yourself.

You tried to think of some places to study, none of them were good places. The only decent place you thought of was Starbucks, there was free wifi there, great food and drinks and it's pretty cozy there. The only bad thing was how loud it could get, especially at this time. It was lunch time at the moment and you knew what disasters could happen over there.

You get dressed into one of your favourite outfits. A maroon sweater with oversized sleeves, A black skater skirt, Black leggings, Black superstars and a pair of clear circular glasses. You look at yourself in the mirror, you look at your face and saw dark circles under your eyes. That's not good. You walk over to your makeup box, applying some foundation on your face. You look back at the mirror to check if they're still there. Thankfully they're not.

After applying makeup you look back at the mirror once more. You thought of how cute you looked as you smiled at your reflection. Natural makeup always suited you the best, especially with your maroon lipstick. You style your hair into cute twin buns, you were pretty proud of your appearance today. You grab your bag and shoved your books and laptop in.

You open your door and slowly walked down the stairs, too focused on your phone instead of being careful down the stairs. You miss a step and almost slip down the stairs, luckily for you, you grabbed the railing to prevent you from falling.

Your mother was sitting in the living room watching television, she didn't even hear the loud thumps on the stairs. As you up to the door you hear you mother ask where you're  going.

"I'm going to study at Starbucks, I need to get this finished by tomorrow or I'm screwed." You reply opening the door. It was pouring outside, a gush of cold wind blew on your face.

"Alright. Well, make sure that you bring an umbrella, it's literally pouring outside." She says.

"Right.. I can see that..." You say as you run upstairs to grab an umbrella.

You open your door and look around your room for an umbrella. You look in your closet and spot a black umbrella just sitting there. You quickly grab it and rush back downstairs.

"Cya mum!" You yell as you walk out. You close the door behind you and felt another cold gust of wind hit you. You started to shiver. You open your umbrella and walk towards your car parked in the rain. You rush towards the car open quickly got in the car. You slam the door and sigh. You start the car and turned on your windshield wiper and reverse out of the drive way. You turn on the radio to hear some music to calm yourself down. It was one of your favourite songs. It was playing 'Somebody to love' by queen. You excitedly squeal as you hear the beautiful piano at the start.
