You drive into the parking lot and park your car as close as you could to Starbucks. You rush into the cafe looking like a total moron as you quickly shut the door. Good thing nobody saw you.
You see your reflection in the glass door. Luckily you weren't soaked, just a few drops of water on your sweater that you could barely notice. You put your portable umbrella in your bag full of books and walk your way up to the cash register. There was only 4 people in line, not too bad I guess. You pull out your phone and start swiping through your Instagram feed hoping you'd find some funny videos that would keep you entertained for a minute or so. You stop swiping and find a video that looked quite interesting. Your eyes we're glued to the screen hoping you wouldn't miss anything.
"Excuse me ma'am?" Said a voice
"M-ma'am?" It repeated
You look up to see nobody in front of you. You blush in embarrassment and shuffle up to the register.
"I'm sorry for that.." You blush.
"No, no, it's fine." they giggle.
You look up to see a man with an angelic face. He had big glimmering brown eyes, styled red hair and the most brightest smile you'd ever seen. both make eye contact and stood there for a second of silence. Your heart skipped a beat as you stared into his eyes, it felt like you were there for ages getting lost in his eyes.
"O-oh! My apologies. I-I didn't mean to." You stuttered
"It's all good!" He replies. You look back up to him as you see a slight grin on his face.
He. Was. Adorable!
"Anyway... I'd like to order a venti mocha.. please.."
"Take away?" He asked.
"No, I'm studying here actually." You reply.
You hand him your change and grab a table number from the counter.
As soon as he was about to walk away from the register, you search for his name badge.
Joe.. you thought.
how cute.
you stand there for a few seconds just thinking about him. He was perfect you thought. You snap out of your daydream and searched the area for somewhere to sit. The place was packed! You find an empty spot next to a window in the corner of your eye.
Bingo you thought.
You quickly walk over to the table hoping nobody would steal your spot.

You open up Microsoft Word and start typing what you wrote on a piece of paper last night. You read through on what you've gotten so far. None of it made sense. English obviously wasn't your strength in school. You sigh and pull out your phone, swiping through social media hoping to clear your mind.
"A Mocha, right?" You hear a familiar voice.
It was Joe.
"Oh, yeah. Thank you very much Joe." You say as he placed your coffee on the table.
"You actually read the name badge. That doesn't happen very often." He says surprised.
"Huh, is that so.." You reply.
"Yeah, most of the customers doesn't even say thank you or something like that." Joe sighed as he rubbed his hand behind his neck.
"Anyway, please enjoy." He added.
You sat there smiling as you watched him walk off. He was very polite and absolutely adorable.
"Too bad I'll probably never see him again." You mumble quietly to yourself.
You take a sip out of your coffee and begin to type on your laptop.
