Maid in a Mansion

CHAPTER 8

The wall move on its own. It looks like a tunnel.

"It was so dark and I can't see anything" I said to him.

"Yeah, but I have this little light" He showed me a cylinder like thing. I think it was like a laser that gives off light.

"Hey Pica. Why did you lock yourself here?" Pica? I'm not a food to call me like that and do I really like to lock myself here? Duh!!!

"This is my punishment and don't call me Pica" I frowned

"Haha..pica is what we call for cute" I blushed when I heard the word cute. But then pica is not a good word to hear. I heard him laughed

"Haha ...okay I'll stop calling you that."

"Thank you" I replied

"But I can't promise you that" He said while smiling at me. I frowned.

"Maid always make a mistake. Next time just try to avoid it". He winked at me. psh...though it was cute.

"By the way I'm Nirobi I am half British and half Japanese. How about you?"

"I'm-

I heard a sudden knocked on the door so I turn around and look at it. It took three minutes to open the door. I heard a sudden movement from the wall behind me only to find out that it was already close.

"What are you doing there?" It was Butler Jo. He just entered the room and did not able to see Nirobi.

"Butler Jo!" I was a little bit shocked and nervous to see him. 

"Why are you so shocked Miss Sky?" I heard Butler Jo and his looking at me. Do I have to tell him? Butler Jo only knows my identity. I think I should trust him or I should take more time?

"Ah..ahm nothing. What are you doing here Butler Jo?" I sighed when he turned around and sit on the single chair.

"Lord Agathon wanted to talk to you privately." He handed me a scroll and waited me to open it.

"He wanted to talk to me? Why?" I was curious.

But I can't believe how fast Nirobi left me.

"I think it is part of your punishment" Butler Jo said. He pointed the scroll and wanted me to open it.

Another punishment huh

I opened the scroll and I found out that it was like a map, showing me the direction to the different rooms of the mansion. It was really detailed. Wow!

"He wanted you to meet him at the Garden of Carnation" Butler Jo said. He waited for my response

"Thank you Butler Jo and of course for letting me to use your tux." I handed him his tux and he leaves without saying any word.

I wonder what Lord Agathon wants to talk in private?

And where is Nirobi?

I was following the arrows in the map that pointing the direction of Garden of Carnation

I was already outside of the mansion.

It was already dark!

I saw the beautiful moon reflecting itself at the lake and I wanted to see it very near. So I walked towards it and not far from where I was standing, there is a big tree that full of pink leaves.

Is it a cherry blossom tree?

I moved towards the direction of the beautiful tree when I heard something

The howling of the dogs...Ooohh it's scares me...

I will do what you say.

I will kill that Lord but -

awoooooooooooo

Jeez....what was that? Dogs are annoying!!!

I hid at the bushes and I saw a two tall man leaving there spot and walking inside the mansion. Why are they walking at the dark path? How will I able to know them!

"Why are you hiding there?" I heard someone behind me.

"Wahhhh!!!!" I was shocked. Was he already here? Did he hear something?

"Were you at my side earlier?" I was still in shock. I saw him smiled at me

"Nope. I was at the lake when I saw you walking towards this tree and I followed you. Here I am"

"Did you hear?" I asked like I am interrogating him

"What? Howling of the dogs?"

"No, that's not what I meant"

So he did not hear!

"Are you long to sit like that? It was like I am talking to a frog" He offered his hand to me. Oh! I tapped my forehead for I just noticed that I was still sitting and hiding here at the bush. Stupid!

I heard him laugh and he took my hand and because of the mud my one foot slipped . I was a about to stumble when he caught me.

I smell a blackberry perfume and I felt a wide chest on my face. And there were arms surrounding at my body.

I pushed a little of myself only to see Lord Allen is lying and unconscious! What should I do?

"Oh!!!please wake up. I'm really sorry If I hadn't slip-" in a split second Lord Allen just hugged me tightly before I finish what I am about to say.

"Shh...Don't let them hear us" He said closer in my right ear. I pushed him and I covered my ears.

"Why did you do that?" I said in disbelief. He smirked

"I don't want you to call somebody for help. It will be really noticeable and that will be again your punishment" He was brushing his hair backward. He was right

"I'm sorry. Ahm...are you okay?" I asked though I don't like that he hug me like that but I am still concern since he save me from stumbling. I 'm so clumsy

"Yeah...but I felt something pain in my back" He's touching his back

"I'm really sorry." I bowed my head at him.

"If you feel sorry then just give me the medicine at my room later. It will really help me" I saw him smiled and he helped me again to stand. This time I stand very carefully.

When we got up

There is someone else standing in front of us.

I gasped when I saw that it was

Lord Agathon!
