CHAPTER 19

We stopped at the big door and he let go of my hand

"Wait here" he closed the door and I was left behind.

I was at the closed room by myself and I only hear the sound of loud voices and claps outside.

Then it became silent. I was curious of what is going on outside. So I opened the door a little and there I saw people and the eight Lords that were looking at Lord Agathon who is standing straightly and speaking to them boldly.

He was really confident.
He is not afraid to stand and talk to all the people.

"Thank you for coming here tonight. I want you to know that this is not my last extolment celebration."

What? What is he talking about.
I noticed that people were whispering

"My True and Last Extolment will be on my 28th birthday, the last day of this month. Where all my cousins will give me their presents. The gift that I really wanted the most."

"My brothers, Lords of different houses. The gift that I am saying will be the indication of the next heir. I wish you luck"

Lord Agathon will not yet surrender his throne to anyone.

He really is determined to get his present.

"If you can't give it to me then, I will not give my whole property to anyone. I will have it as long as I am alive."

Everybody starting to make loud noises and I saw that Lords were not anymore interested.

They didn't like it? But why? Is it because he's a deaf? Or else there's something?

I looked at Lord Agathon again only to find out that he was already holding the door and open it widely.

I closed my eyes because of the lights. It's so bright.

Lord Agathon just grabbed me and he pulled me from my hidden spot and I heard people's reactions. They're shocked, they're voices tells it.

"Wait, what are you doing?"

"showing you to them" he said

"But why?"

"Because your beautiful tonight"

I can't say anything. Is he saying I'm beautiful? No way!

My heart, I felt this before... It started again to beat faster.

I am already out of my hidden spot.
I saw hundreds or thousands of people including the Lords they're all staring at me.

I saw Lord Gin smiling and
Lord Agathon started to speak up.

"She is Ms. Andrea Anderson and she's my

.
newly personal secretary. If you do like to talk and ask her to do errands for you then ask first my permission."

WHAT?! WHA.... WHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I think I'll collapse

The noise was louder this time!

I saw Lord Allen. I think he didn't want this because his eyes shows it all.

Lord Teron who was at the wine section had stop moving. He looked at me like he wants to eat me.

I saw that he was writing something.

There's no phone here at the mansion. When I first arrived here it was taken by butler Jo.
