CHAPTER 31

#Past

Eli... Wake up Eli.

There's someone waking me up. I opened my eyes and it was dark. I think it was only a dream.

I am at the bed and the moon light is reflecting on the window of my room. I get up and walk into the window. It is late night. I woke up at this late hour. I turned on the lampshade and I was shocked to see that my room is different now. How many days did I slept again?  I remembered all the things that happened and my heart still aching. I can't accept how it all happen.

I saw the case in my bed and opened it. All the things were in place and still inside. What did really happen ten years ago? Why I can't remember it all? I wanted to know everything. I noticed that there were tears coming down my face. I'm tired being like this. Always crying. I walk out of my room slowly and quietly. I was really far from my room when I saw big glasses of windows and I saw the unique style of the hallway because of the moonlight.

I continually walked until I saw a balcony. I went there only to find out that Lord Shon was there and gazing at the moon. He was beautiful.

Strong wind passed and the window closed on its own. I saw my reflection on the window and I saw Lord Shon looking at me.

I saw that my hair was too short. My face is different when I had short hair. Suddenly I saw Lord Shon running towards me and he hugged me.

"Lord Shon" I just said. I smell alcohol from him. Is he drunk?

"I thought your dead, but you were alive with me. Eli Naru don't leave me because I love you" He said and he lose his consciousness and drop his head on my shoulder.

I started to remember the letter.

YOU WILL ONLY LOVE LORD SHON. LORD SHON ONLY.

did we make promise before? I hate myself not remembering the past.

I softly remove his head on my shoulder and I put him on the couch which is only a meter a way from me.

He's so big but because we're standing I can able to move him there.

He suddenly said something

"Eli, where are you all these years? We are searching for you." He said before he slept peacefully.

I was looking at Lord Shon who has a cold heart from the  beginning we've met.

My eyes were swollen. I really wanted to know the past. The answers in all questions I had in my mind.

"Are you always like that?" I heard a familiar voice. I turned around to see Miss Charie looking at me.

"You know, my mother always told me that you were cheerful before. You're always positive and witty girl. But looking at you you're such a loser, crying always. Are you like that?"

Miss Charie was right... Is this me?

"Your sleeping for 3 days and we're here at The House of Lairen and you're still crying?"

"But, I can't laugh about what happened to -" I did not finish what I'm saying. I gasped.

"Did everybody knows about what happened?"

"Everybody knows what happened Eli"

My whole body froze. It feels like I'm a statue.

"Eli... I think you need to explain everything what you know especially the case you had. It was in your room. Stop crying and face now your situation. Fight Eli for your family and friends. Do the right things."

Miss Charie was right, I need to face it all. I think I am here because I had a purpose. I had something to do here.

" You’re right Miss Charie. I have to see Lord Agathon and show him the key and the case. Lord Agathon and Lord Shon had something in me from my past."

"Do it Eli! Do it!" I walked alone and I had to see Lord Agathon now.
