After Natasha took me to meet up with the team and they grabbed my arms and legs due to the fear of flying, we all boarded the Quinjet. Which is where we've been sitting for at least 20 minutes. In silence. Awkward silence. My fingers were drumming on my knee which was bouncing up and down, my foot tapping. I am not good with silence. Natasha is piloting, Clint and Tony sit opposite me, leaving Bruce and Steve on the same side as me. I heard a frustrated sigh from opposite me and looked up to see Clint sending me a glare.

"Do you mind?" He breathed. I stopped moving and sent him an anxious smile.

"Sorry, sir." His eyebrows shot up as he replied,

"Uh, Clint is fine. Guess you don't do well with silence?"

"Yeah it gets to me. Especially with strangers."

"Well then allow me to fill that silence," he turned to face Tony as he said, "Tony, since you are her legal guardian now, tell her about yourself."

"In the shortest way possible I'm a genius, billionaire, playboy philanthropist." He said, a smug smile tugging at his lips. I don't even know what a philanthropist is, so I asked.

"What's a philanthropist?" Everyone except Natasha looked at me when I asked that,

"You're kidding right?" Bruce asked. That's a bit rude don't you think?

"No, I've never heard that word."

"Don't you go to school?"

"Well yeah, but I skip most of them and don't really listen. I'm failing every class except anatomy."

"You shouldn't skip classes, but why are you good at anatomy? Doesn't seem like a common class for someone to only excel in."

It's because I was taught the structure of the body when I was with Them. I needed to know how to kill someone fast, where to pierce for a slow death and most of all, the most painful spots for effective torture and interrogation. Before I could actually answer with a lame excuse, you didn't really think I'd tell them all that did you? Natasha called out from the front,

"We're here, strap in for landing."

Once we landed the Quinjet was flown back to the helicarrier by agents that I hadn't notice where on there. I walked to the edge of the roof and looked down. Only to literally stumble away from it. That is bloody high.

"What's wrong, don't like heights?" I turned around to find Natasha behind me.

"No," I glanced back at the edge, "not one bit."

"I'll be sure to put that in your file," I glared at her, "just kidding. Come on you need to get settled."

Still not sure if she was lying or not I followed her. She was standing in front of an elevator with the team, waiting for me.

"Hell no. You may have got me on a plane today, but I ain't getting on that thing."

"You have to, we are going 20 floors down." Steve said.

"Maybe another day." With that I bolted for the stairs before they could grab me and begun my decent.

This wasn't my best idea. My legs hurt, but I think I'm making good time. When I finally reached the designated floor I went to reach for the door but stopped as I heard talking. I could only make out a few words but it sounds like it's Steve and Tony talking.

"...Tony... dangerous... too young... training..."

I had heard enough by then, it's clear that not everyone wants me here, but I have no choice. I reminded myself that this is to see my dad and took a steady breath before opening the door. Steve sent me a glance before walking to a couch and sitting down to watch the television.
