BACK TO RILEY'S POV
I woke up with a groan, slowly peeling my eyes open I'm met with a plain ceiling. Where the hell am I? I sat up too fast and held my head in my hands, way to fast after transforming recently. Wait. No, someone was there. SHIELD, Tony Stark, holy crap. I snapped my head up to see I'm in a circular cell made of glass. That alone made my heart race. But the worst part? I can't sense the ground. We must be in the air, so not my element. I could feel my heart speeding up and I felt my hands become clammy. Your'e okay. It's okay. I can't panic, not here. Just as I began spiraling downwards I heard a door open and shut. When I looked up I was met with the red head I ran into near the pharmacy.
"You?" She asked, seemingly unsurprised.
"Me." I replied, my short rugged breaths stopped me from replying with a longer answer. She seemed to pick up on this as she replaced her tense stance with a casual stand and she began talking like it was a normal day.
"Did the medicine work?" She asked.
"Yeah, I think, kind of got kidnapped before I could check properly."
"It wasn't for you?" She raised her eyebrow at this. I could feel my heartbeat slowing, seeming to forget my predicament.
"No it wasn't. My friend Marlee had a bad fever."
"Stealing for a friend. I guess that's a form of loyalty." I relaxed a bit more now, walking backwards until I rested comfortably on a makeshift bed.
"If you are calm now, I have some questions to ask you?" I'm sure she's been ordered to do this, if I said no it'd just make things worse.
"Yeah, of course."
"Cool, you'll have to come with me." As soon as she said that the doors opened again to reveal four agents who opened the cell and lead me out. One of them put handcuffs on my wrist, causing my wrist to throb. I looked down at it to see it swollen and bent awkwardly. That's right, I broke it when I punched that Iron-assed twit.
"Follow me." The red-head said, so I did. The four agents were surrounding me, one on each side and two behind me, the woman at the front.
We walked down twisting hallways that I couldn't memorise if I wanted to. I decided to take a chance and break the silence.
"So... what's your name?" The red-head flicked her head back to me for a split second.
"Natasha." She replied.
"That's a nice name." Natasha glanced at me again, a small smirk on her face.
"Don't get too comfortable, you're about to be interrogated."
"Oh, right." I mumbled.
Finally we stopped in front of a door and I was lead inside, the escorts left me and Natasha alone inside. It seems like the standard interrogation room we see on TV when we can watch it. It was kind of cool. I looked across the room to see the one-sided glass, now that is awesome. I ran up to it and squinted as hard as I could, trying to see if I could look through it.
"There are a group of professionals watching you from the other side right now." Natasha said. My face went red and I walked over to the desk sitting in the middle of the room. I sat down and kept my head down. Embarrassing, but I'm only a kid right?
"Now then, I'm going to ask you some questions and I need your honest answers."
"Yes ma'am." I replied. Natasha took a seat across from me, her face turned stone serious and, not surprisingly, I went back to the scared little kid.
