Kyla's POV
As soon as I told him, I ran away. I didn't know why exactly, because we were standing right outside my car.
I ran around the corner of the srreet and hid behind some bushes. I peeped my head to see if he was still there, but he wasn't anywhere to be found.
I started walking back to my car. Once I got in, I started the engine and drove home.
When I got inside, my brother was waiting for me. He looked like his world was crashing down right before him.
"What's wrong?" I asked him, concern filling me voice.
"It's mom." he replied.
My mom was a drug addict. She had to go to rehab a couple of months ago, and when she came back, she started work again and started where she left off. My dad didn't want her to go back to work, but she insisted because it was most of our family's income.
"What happened?"
"She overdosed on heroine."
The worst thoughts ran through my head. Is she dead? In a coma? What are we going to do?
"I-is she alright?"
"No."
Matthew's POV
When she ran away from me, I figured she was scared, so I let her go and walked back to my car.
"Matthew!" a female voice called.
I turned around, thinking it was Kyla. When I turned, I saw a blonde with big boobs running towards me. Oh god.
"Hey Tammy."
"Hey! So I was wondering if you wanted to come over tonight. My parents aren't going to be home for the rest of the week."
I thought about the offer, considering the fact that if I declined, she would tell everyone and people would talk. So I said yes.
"Sure, why not." I said, grabbing her hand and bringing her towards my car.
I opened the door for her and closed it after she got inside. Then, i got into my own side.
"Lets go to The Point first." She said.
The Point is a place that people go to get wasted and makeout in their cars.
"Okay, lets go."
When we got there, she immediately unbuckled and climbed onto me. She bent down, and kissed me hard in the lips.
This was going to be an interesting night.
