Kyla's POV
Today is the first day of school. Is it normal to not feel completely nervous at all? I mean, I don't necessarily love school, but I don't hate it either. Of course, that is probably because I get perfect grades.
When I wake up, I throw on a tye-dye crop top with a black tank top, and a pair of white washed jean shorts. I curl my hair slightly, and put on some natural makeup. As I walk out of my room, I slide on my black toms.
When I reach the kitchen, I grab an apple from the fruit bowl and take a big bite out of it.
"You are such a pig Kyla." My big brother Adam said as he walked up to the refrigerator.
"And you aren't? " I said back to him when he grabbed a banana, some bread, and a packet of oatmeal.
"Touché. "
I laughed and jumped onto the counter so I could sit on top of it.
"Are you looking forward to your first day of college?" I asked. Today he was starting at a local community college.
"I guess so. I mean, it won't be to bad. I might even meet a few chicks there too." He said wiggling his eyebrows.
"EWWWW! You're disgusting."
"Well, you asked." He said with a smirk on his face.
I checked the clock, seeing that i only had 10 minutes until school started.
"Holy mother of cheese! I'm gonna be late!" I jumped off of the counter grabbed my galaxy bag, purse, phone, and car keys.
"See ya later!" Adam called after me laughing.
I slammed the door and ran to my car. As soon as I got in, I inserted the keys and drove off as fast as I could.
Matthew's POV
As I open the door to my car, a bunch of girls are already rushing over to me. Although I love the attention, I hate it as well.
I walk past the people and lean against the wall of the school. You could say that I am one of the most popular guy in the whole school.
"Matthew, call me!"
"I love you Matthew!"
"What's up Matt?"
Everybody is always all over me and I admit that it's pretty annoying. But, I don't do anything about it because it's what they want.
I stand outside for the next ten minutes or so, waiting for the late bell to ring. Right as I was about to go inside, I heard a car pull into the parking lot.
Kyla's POV
I pull into the parking lot at full speed. I glance at the clock and see that it read 7:57.
Great. I only have three minutes to get into the building, sign in, get my schedule, go to my locker, and get to class.
How the fudge am I supposed to do that?
Right as I was thinking that thought, I heard three knocks on my window.
Oh My Cheese.
