Jungkook groans as he wakes up to the sound of his phone buzzing non stop. He freezes as he sees SMS from his brother Namjoon along other similarly worded texts from friends

You have been through a lot these past few weeks and I knew there would be a silver lining with that heart break. I know how you've felt about Jimin all these years and I'm so happy he finally agreed to be yours. Even though I am mad at you for announcing your engagement on IG without telling me, congrats on finally finding the right guy

Jungkook finally logs into IG to see the post that made his phone buzz with congratulatory messages, the post making his breath hitch

Jungkook's phone slips from his fingers as he looks around him, he was on the floor tangled in between bedsheets, Jimin sleeping peacefully to his side

What the fck just happened?

He panics as he frantically tries to wake up the smaller who continued groaning as he slept "Jimin! Wake up!"

Jimin whines "Let me sleep"

"Jimin wake up, this is important!"

Jimin flinches when Jungkook shoves the phone in his face. Groaning with one eye closed he sees the post that caused Jungkook to freak out - a picture of them together with the caption - Finally! he said yes

Jungkook curses as he drags a hand through his hair "I told you not to get me drunk"

Jimin just blinks at him pacing around the room

"Fck! hyung...God what will I tell hyung..he is so happy that we are together...fck!"

Jimin groans as he pulls Jungkook down next to him

"Don't tell him anything..." Jimin says making Jungkook look at him weirdly "...he is just gonna be more upset."

"Jimin, they think we're engaged!" Jungkook exclaims

"So? it's not hurting anyone. Besides, your hyung's been really worried about you..."

"This is serious, Jimin!" Jungkook frowns

"I am being serious." Jimin shows no smile. " It's not really a lie, you've already paid for everything so it's already yours.  Plus, look how happy everyone is for you?"

Jungkook sighs "It's still lying. What are you going to do, pretend to be my husband for the rest of our lives?"

Jimin chuckles "It won't be that long, we'll clear everything up in a couple of months when things have died down. We'll just decide that we'd like to just be friends"

"And you're okay with just lying to everyone?" Jungkook wonders out loud

Jimin snorted "Trust me, you'd be doing me a favor. And it'll be fun, okay?!"

"...okay." Jungkook says trusting Jimin

"Good...now let's go back to sleep" Jimin says pulling Jungkook into bed with him. Jungkook blinks up at the ceiling till he feels Jimin curl into him and he has a hard time convincing himself that the warm bubbly emotions he felt right now were nothing but reassurance that all will be okay
