Planning for the wedding with Yugyeom was stressful and boring but somehow with Jimin was fun and relaxing even. Jungkook liked nodding to everything Jimin said, showing he was a supportive fiance, he liked seeing Jimin jump around excited. He liked bringing that part out of Jimin.

"I think we are done with almost everything..." Jimin starts only to be interrupted by a voice behind them

"Jungkook?"

Jungkook froze, that voice...the voice that was the cause of his heartbreak...the voice he once loved..he could never forget it. "Yugyeom. It's been a while." Jungkook nervously chuckles as he turns around

Yugyeom was just as beautiful as the last time he'd seen him and his heart clenches painfully at memory they shared together.

"I'm sorry I just didn't think I was ready to reach out yet. You look good though.... Oh, hi Jimin." Yugyeom does a small wave

"You... you look good, I ... how are you?" Jungkook stuttered, he still liked him, they were going to be married after all. It was painful to be around each other and Jungkook just wanted to hug their pain away.

His thoughts were cut off by Jimin hooking his arms around his

"Hey, did you hear? We're getting married" Jimin smirked and Jungkook didn't know how to react when the hurt expression on Yugyeom's face still shook him

"Jimin!" Jungkook hadn't thought about how this would affect Yugyeom

"...It all worked for the best though. Now we know the right guy is marrying Jungkook after all." Jimin continues

Yugyeom scoffed looking at Jungkook ".... The two of you were practically married already, being together even on some of our alone times. I wanted to marry you, Jungkook, not you and Jimin. You're right, you two deserve each other."

"Yugyeom, please" Jungkook started and Yugyeom took a step away from him

"Just forget it, Jungkook. I shouldn't have said anything." Yugyeom mumbled as he left. Jungkook didn't know what to do but Jimin pulled the taller along with him, far away from Yugyeom

"...Your ex is an asswipe" Jimin snapped as he shoves Jungkook into his car.

"You shouldn't have said that, Jimin."

"He broke your heart, Jungkook! You're always too forgiving even when people just keep hurting you..."

"And what if he's right?" He lashed out "Jimin...I know you and I spend a lot of time together. I didn't realize that.... I guess I wasn't a very good boyfriend." Yugyeom knew how you felt about Jimin, no wonder he left. You couldn't just let go of a stupid crush you've been holding on to since you were kids and it ruined everything.

"He doesn't know anything...."

"Just drive, okay? .. I just want to go home."

The ride home was quiet

"Jungkook..." Jimin says as soon as they get out the car

"Not right now, Jimin."

"Jungkook..." Jimin places an envelope onto Jungkook's palm with the name Jeon Jihoon on it.

Jungkook huffs out a laugh with angry tears blurring his eyes when he reads that his dad couldn't make it to the wedding and Jimin hugs him, finally Jungkook let his tears fall

His dad was never there for him for anything. Had left Namjoon and him ever since they were kids, just sending them money for their existence. Why did he even expect his dad to show up for one of the most important moments in his life..just why? Jungkook had always tried to be the best in everything, just to make his dad proud of him but it was all worthless. Finally he tried to convince himself that it was better this way, without a dad in his life but it still hurt each time he tried to reach out only to be shot down

Tears rolled down his cheeks at the memory as he buried his face onto the smaller's shoulders and he didn't even know when Jimin had sat him on the couch

"... You're better off without him.." Jimin pats his back "... It's okay, he doesn't deserve to be part of your life..."

Everything overwhelmed Jungkook right now. His dad, Yugyeom and Jimin. He had loved Yugyeom but he ruined everything because he couldn't let him in as much as he let Jimin and it was selfish. He couldn't have Jimin and he couldn't let go enough to love anyone else as they deserved. He had hurt Yugyeom. It was his fault. And now Jimin would leave him too, would find someone and all because he doesn't have the guts to tell him his true feelings. His own dad didn't want him, how could he expect his best friend to?

Jungkook cried his heart out and through it all Jimin hugged and comforted him

Jimin had then put on an ironman movie to help relax the taller, but he refused to let Jungkook go

"They're not good enough for you. You deserve better." Jimin squeezes his hand

Jimin let Jungkook have his silence as he worried about his best friend - Jungkook had always hated himself a bit and Jimin didn't know what to do
