Chapter 2: The Prime Gods and Goddesses

         It is said that at the beginning of Creation twelve powerful beings rose from the depths of the void of space and created the eighteen realms these beings would be known as the Prime twelve or most commonly known as the Prime Gods. 

       The first god was known as Zacharael he was the god of purity, light, and goodness. He created the universe with his divine power and created the Angels of the High Heavens. He is seen as a being of all good things and mostly depicted as a Sun or a Giant man bathed in light. He wears a pure white tunic and cloak that covers his body and those who have communed with him tell that he is a gentle but firm god who is understanding and thoughtful. Although when angered Zacharael is not to be underestimated for his divine power is swift and merciless when challenged by evil. But he is also kind and on many occasions shown mercy even though zealots from across Asariya and the Realms would taint his image to serve a more wicked purpose. 

      The second was known as Lizabethe goddess of hope, courage, and will. She is seen as the patron to turn to for every hopeless moment or to pray to in times of need, as she rekindles the fire that burns within us all. She is depicted as a fiery Redheaded woman with a mighty sword and wings. Her emblems include that of a ball of fire, embers, or a sword with wings sprouting from it. she wears plated mail made of the most powerful materials painted in beautiful shades of red, silver, and gold colors. Those who stand in her way our easily brought down before her. oblivion is her answer to creatures wicked and twisted. bringing hope to all is her and her follower's way of life can as the flames of hope can never truly be put out.  All who worship her share these traits being very passionate in their duties and when a call to action arises they are quick to answer. Though it is to be noted that even though sometimes her followers are overzealous they are very loyal and kind-hearted.  

       Thanos would be the Third god as without death there would be no order. He saw to it that the darker magics would be Incorporated into the realms so that things would die in the natural order, to return back to the soil from which it came. Although the Plain of Death is his domain he believes that death is sacred and that everyone should find peace in death rather than be afraid of it. Creations that are not put to rest or are born from the souls of others anger's the god immensely as their souls are tormented and seek release. He is often depicted as a scarecrow, a pale rider with a dark horse and scythe, or as a talking skull. Followers of him are seen as suspicious or untrusting but rather they view life and death differently. But enemies of Thanos know very well how ruthless the God of death can be. To anger Thanos is to have your soul purged from existence.    

      Jazi Goddess of trickery, dreams, and mischief is smaller than other gods and goddesses but is not weaker by any means. she has a very carefree attitude and focuses on creating and living out fantasies for herself and her followers. she is the patron of thieves and grants them boons for carrying out their mischief. Mostly seen as Harlequin with a strange black and white checkered mask it is not sure what her intentions are. she loves a good song or play, entertainment is her spotlight. she believes that life is a massive opera and everyone has a part to play. She would later be called Mirage as she would change drastically after her banishment to the Forgot Realm. 

        Malthael tyrant of power and domination was at the front of everything that required power for he believed that only the strong were the only capable beings to live in all the realms. Thus he is noted as being the father of all Demonkin. It was he who created and granted them massive amounts of power to influence the world. But the rest of the gods saw him as a threat and waged war. Upon his defeat, he would be banished to Tartarus a forbidden realm where he would suffer for the rest of all eternity. But rather than suffer he carved out his domain from this broken realm creating the Seven Plains of hell. Each realm he would create a ruler to watch over and protect by this establishment of hierarchy and kinship, the legions of Hell grew and became strong.  He is depicted as a Tall man with Deep red eyes, powerful muscles, and clad in black armor with spikes. His helmet covers his face as only his Red eyes are visible. He carries a long black greatsword and sits on a black throne of obsidian plotting and waiting for his return to Ahitya.
