"Hang on," I asked Awakening, "You and Mafia have been dating for at least two years?"

Awakening nodded.

Me and Awakening were currently in a café right next to the police station, drinking tea and talking.

"Why can't you tell the police?" I asked, taking a sip of my tea.

Awakening looked at me like I was crazy, "Ian, I-" She faltered. "I could lose my job."

"What if you gave them false information about Mafia's whereabouts?" I asked. "Do you know where she might be?"

Awakening nodded.

I left behind a couple of bucks on the table and together we headed towards the Hummer.

"Are you sure this is going to work?" I asked Awakening.

"Shut up, Ian," She hissed, before radioing the police department.

"Hello?" A voice asked on the other end of the line.

Awakening looked at me and I nodded. "This is Officer Miller. we have a 10-91 spotted eastbound on Smith Avenue," She said into the police radio.

"Thanks, Officer Miller," The voice said, "We have a strike team inbound."

Awakening high-fived me after she ended the call.

"That was awesome," I said, grabbing her hand.

Awakening looked disgusted, jerking her hand from my grip. "Just drive to this location," she said.

Half an hour later, I got out and slammed the door of the Humvee.

"Are you positive she's here?" I asked Awakening.

As if in response, Mafia walked out from around the corner.

"What are you doing here?" I asked Mafia.

"I could ask you two the same question," Mafia replied coldly.

I thrust my hands in my pockets. "We have to go," I said. "The cops are going to be here any minute."

"Okay, and...?" she asked.

I sighed. "Shoot to kill," I said, pulling out a small handgun. "That was the order. Now, if you want to continue living, get in the Hummer."

"Do you really think I care?" Mafia said in a cocky voice. "I told you to shoot me when we met."

I raised the gun and pulled back the hammer. "Yeah, I actually do." I fired at Mafia, hitting her in the chest. However, instead of leaving a bloody mark, I had just tased her. "Sorry about that," I apologized to Awakening.
