Melissa P.O.V

I went downstairs and quickly made a couple stacks of pancakes I went back upstairs and went straight to Lucinda's room and gave her breakfast to her.

"Thank you, Melissa."

I give her a smile, "You're welcome."

I walked to the doorway and shouted, "I MADE PANCAKES!"

I laughed and turned back to Lucinda, "They're awake now" :D.

Lucinda's P.O.V

I again jumped out of surprise thanks to Melissa's shouting, but something about that smile she gave just makes my heart hurt more and makes my cheeks warm.

Melissa's P.O.V

I saw Lucinda started blushing I wasn't sure why, so I just stared at her trying to figure her out. She looks up at me and I go into full panic mode and I make the same stupid excuse, "I've gotta go feed my dog!"

My cheeks get redder and I run out the room and past the kitchen where most people were grabbing the pancakes I made. I rush outside quickly and receive confused looks but I didn't want to explain. I ran to the water where no one can see or hear me.

"Lucinda caught me staring, she probably thinks I'm a creep... Can I get an actual dog here? It would really make my excuse believable." I pull out my phone and search up puppies for adoption, and to my disbelief there is a pet store on island.

Lucinda's P.O.V

Melissa ran out so fast, and I think she was blushing. I don't think her dog is real though, but maybe it is, I'm not sure. I should get up and check on her. I stand up and test if I'm still hurt, my legs still sting my arm fully healed though.

I walk down the stairs slowly careful not to fall. Aaron saw me walking down the stairs winked and teasingly said," How's my sister's girlfriend?"

I feel my face burn up but I act like it's fine,"Aaron, she isn't my girlfriend."

I looked to the water and saw Melissa leaving to somewhere.

Melissa's P.O.V

"Okay so I take a right here and it should be here, aha!"

I walked inside and was immediately greeted by the puppies barking. I looked around for the perfect dog while I was checking I found a German Shepherd that looks a lot like Lucinda, she has the red eyes and some orange fur on her snout, underbelly, the top of her ears, tail, head and even looked like she was wearing orange socks but the rest was covered by white. I look to the cashier,"Uh..sir how much for the dog"

"$250" (Cheap pupper)

"I'll take it," I pull out my credit card.

"Okay Miss what will you name her"

"I'll name her Lucy (hint hint ;) ) and can I buy some dog food too"

"Yes Miss" The cashier takes my card and swipes it then hands me Lucy's leash, the dog food and of course my credit card.

I walk outside with Lucy and go back to the house

"Guys wanna meet my puppy, this is Lucy." I glance at Lucinda and she makes eye contact but I quickly avert my eyes to everyone else. (Lucy is a smol puppy right now)

Aaron looks confused,"When did you get that dog,"

"What are you talking about Aaron I had her since we came to Starlight heh.." I nervously scratch my head

"I don't remember her when we came here" Aaron pushes.

"Err.. Umm..plan's been compromised, RUN LUCY!!"

Lucy and I run out quickly.

Lucinda P.O.V

Melissa finally came back and with a dog.

I guess she really has a dog

"Guys wanna meet my puppy, this is Lucy,"said Melissa holding the dog. That dog looks a lot like me.. how weird.

She looked at me when she said Lucy did she name her puppy after me? No, she said that she had Lucy since they came to Starlight

"Err.. Umm..plans been compromised, RUN LUCY!!" Said Melissa flustered.

What plan...she really did name Lucy after me....that's really sweet

(Author's note: don't kill me because of the cliffhanger also this story changes from first person to third person at ttimes, now I'mma sleep it's 2:16 in the morning)
