Melissa was on edge, she was anxious she couldn't stop herself from thinking, her thoughts raced. Learning about her father's past, it scared her. Katelyn, Garroth, and Aphmau..... They were just kids, they would take anything their parents would give them. She didn't like all this stuff about forever potions.

Now the other problem, how could the ultima secret be leaked. This set her even more on edge, good thing it was only a rumour as of now. She hated this. Most of all she was terrified, with this rumour out, her family would be heavily investigated and if they're found out.... they're all dead.

"Mel?"

Melissa immediately straightens her posture, looking up at her girlfriend. "Lucinda... You're up.."

"Are you okay? You seem a little out of it." Lucinda puts a hand on Melissa's shoulder

"...I-" She immediately wraps Lucinda in a tight hug. She tightly closes her eyes, letting tears flow out, "..I'm terrified... Aaron... My family..."

Lucinda reciprocates the hug, slowly rubbing Melissa's back, "What about them?"

"...What happened at the lodge... You saw what happened... There's a leak, about the ultima secret.."

Lucinda's eyes widen but she keeps quiet and continues to rub Melissa's back.

"..If my family gets discovered... I.. I don't know what will happen.... No... I do know... They would kill us... Make sure there is no one that carries ultima blood left..."

Lucinda pulls away from Melissa's hug, placing her hands on Melissa's shoulders and staring deep into her eyes."You guys won't be found out, okay?"

"I'm not so sure about that... We're already being investigated..."

Lucinda rewraps her arms around Melissa, "It'll be okay."

"Let's just stay like this, just until the dinner that Aaron wants us to do."

"What ever you want, Mel."

As the time came for dinner, Lucinda decided to go with her girlfriend. Melissa seemed okay now, she didn't look like she was crying her eyes out an hour ago.

They happily chattered, some idle talk about Aphmau's clothes, flirting from KC to Zane. Everything was fine... Maybe...
