Chapter 14

Melissa's POV
-Later that day or night in Melissa's room-

"Hey, Cutie." I say to KC who directs her attention to me. "Guess what happened at the haunted house."

KC's face gets very red,"HOW DO YOU KNOW ABOUT THAT, MELISSA-SENPAI!!?"

My ears flinch,"owwwww that hurt.....know about what?"

KC starts meowing to herself and then starts squealing (here's what she's basically saying oh no what did I do I thought she was talking about Zane and I. What do I tell her? Me and my big mouth. *squealing*)

"Cutie?" She looks up at me,"Are you okay?"

KC's POV
"I'm okay...just something happened....in that haunted house." Melissa looks at me confused,"I- er.. confessedmylovetoZaneandwekissedandnowimfreakingoutandeverythingisawkwardnowandheevenknowsmyrealnameahhhhhhhhh."(I confessed my love to Zane and we kissed and now I'm freaking out and everything is awkward now and he even knows my real name ahhhhhhhhhh)

"Oh..Uh that seems like a tough situation, Cutie... but here's the advice that I can give you." Melissa sets her hands on my shoulders and looks at me very serious. "Talk. To. Zane."

"Wha- I can't do that it's too awkward."

"It's only gonna stay awkward if you don't. Talk. To. Him."

"No!" I say sounding like a cat. Suddenly I feel Melissa start to carry me over her shoulder and walk out of the room to some very confused stares from Lucinda and Garroth. "NOOOO! LET ME GO MELISSA-SENPAI!!"

"No." Melissa walks me to Zane's and Garroth's room. I hear Melissa say,"Zane are you in there?"

And I hear a reply,"Yes." Melissa opens the door and walks in then sets me down still latching onto my hand so I don't run away," YOU. TWO. TALK." Melissa walks out the door holding it shut from the outside.

Melissa's POV

"Hey Melissa." Lucinda says to me,"what was that about?"

"What was what about..." I take a moment to realize what she's talking about,"Ohh...that...Uhm well Zane and KC need to talk something out which KC ultimately refused so now I'm making them talk."

"Shouldn't this take time then?"

"Yeah probably."

"Let's go and make something in the kitchen then." Lucinda suggests.

"Ooo pancakes!"

"What ever you want dear."

"Yayyy." I grab Lucinda's hand and take her to the kitchen.

We start grabbing the ingredients to make pancakes from scratch. "Okay, so put 2 cups of flour, and then 4 tablespoons of sugar, 4 teaspoons of baking powder, 2 teaspoons of salt. Now mix." Lucinda says mixing and everything is flying about. "Whoa, slow down. Let me help you." I put my hand on her hand and help her whisk at a good pace.

"Aren't I lucky to have a good girlfriend to help me whisk." Lucinda says.

I giggle and give her a kiss.

"Okay now get two eggs and scramble them and then add them to the mix then add 2 cups milk and lastly add 4 tablespoons vegetable oil. And mix again."

"Care to help me?"

"Of course."I help Lucinda mix until the batter is smooth.

"Now it's my turn to actually cook it." I slowly place the batter onto the pan and wait for it to be flipped and repeat until all the batter is pancakes.

"RACHEL!! I SMELL PANCAKES!!" My dad runs into the kitchen with mom close behind him.

I give a plate of pancakes to my dad and then my mom and then they run off to somewhere on the boat to eat them in peace.

"Wow that was fast." Lucinda says.

"When it comes to pancakes my mom and dad go crazy for them."

"Well let's go eat some."

After eating some pancakes Lucinda heads to her room to sleep. I go check on KC who just finished talking to Zane.

"So Cutie how'd that go."

"Zane asked me on a date and we talked about how we got into this situation. Any who Melissa-Senpai what were you gonna tell me."

"Well I was gonna tell you that me and Lucinda are dating."

"What!? Really!?"

"Yes really."

KC starts fangirling "omigashanothershiphassailedahhh." (Omi gash another ship has sailed ahhhh)

"Also what's this about you real name, if your real name isn't Kawaii-Chan then what is it?"

KC stops fangirling,"ugh me and my big mouth, my real name is Nana Ashida."

"Oh okay that's cool."

"That's your only reaction?"

"Yeah, I mean if you want to tell me more then tell me more I'm not gonna push you to tell me."

"Oh ok then if you'd like you can call me Nana it'll be nice to be called my real name for once I haven't heard it since high school also only call me Nana in private I don't need anyone else but you and Zane knowing."

"Alright...Nana."

"This'll give me courage to actually be myself somewhat and not be weirded out by it."

"Okay well I'm goin to bed, you can sleep whenever I really don't care when."

"Okay good night Melissa."

I walk to my room with KC still sitting on the couch doing whatever she does when she's alone.

(Author's Note: I'm not dead! I'm just lazy. That pancake recipe is well a recipe just doubled so if you want you can use it just divide the numbers by 2.
