Was this what becoming sober feels like? All the drugs and alcohol you consumed that night had you on top of the world, over the moon. All over the place, inside your head it's just like your brain is trying to break through your skull. There wasn't much pain in your lower body like there was the first time, but the rotten feeling in your stomach wouldn't release you.
You shot off of where you slept, clasping your hand over your mouth and quickly running behind a tree. You vomited, the strong beverages and drugs spilled out of your mouth until your body felt relieved enough to stop.
Looking around, everyone was gone. There was no trace of where they went, just a messy dining table. The leftover cake was splattered on the ground. It was dry and maggoty, just the disgusting sight of it was going to make you puke a second time.
You dusted off your skirt, also realizing that you were dressed. They're 'nice' enough to dress you after you knocked out, but then take off after they were done satisfying themselves? You glanced up to the firmament for some kind of—any kind of sign to specify that it was going to be alright.
Too naive. The black clouds began to appear in the sky, indicating that night was falling. No stars were in sight. You had this strange feeling swish inside your stomach, not a good feeling.
The cold started to fall, you began to shiver.
Not having a great feeling about the nighttime, you stumbled down the hill and left your Merry Unbirthday Party. You walked for a bit, your arms wrapped around your torso and elbows for a little bit of warmth.
The darkness was coming faster and washing over the fields of Wonderland. You panicked more and more. Your breathing hitched and became heavier as you moved faster; just searching for some kind of shelter.
You ran, fast until you were put out of breath. That's when you collapsed—gently atop a hillock and into the dirt of the flower and mushroom fields.
A crunching noise was heard coming up the hill by where you were, but you were to exhausted to look up. Maybe they wouldn't see you...
It stopped next to your body. "What's a peasant girl like you doing out here all alone?" It said.
You shot your head up as soon as you heard the low and raspy voice. It was man, a man with black armor. "You look awfully familiar.." he said staring down at you, it was impolite to stare, but it's like he knew you from a longtime ago. So he couldn't help but stare into your eyes that were full of curiosity. That curiosity he knew all too well.
And the obscene attire you put on display he couldn't say didn't put affect him just a little. The word Mad isn't the only term that describes this land, so nobody could blame him.
"You must have the wrong person, I don't believe we ever met." You muttered up to the mysterious male, as you shifted uncomfortably on the ground. He gave you a callous look, "to your feet."
Without a question you wobbly picked yourself up from the ground. There you could get a clear view of the man through the darkness that was almost completely consuming the land.
He was very tall, and his dark you would say—shoulder length green hair that rested loosely on his broad shoulders of the armor.
