After the whole incident went down, and my hair was done, Josh called Brendon, seeing as my phone decided to die on us while we walked back to Hot Topic because Josh wanted to go talk to his 'friend' who worked there. I say 'friend'  because the way he talks about them reminds me of how someone talks about their datemate/ boyfriend/girlfriend.

We entered the store and a girl with hair the same length as mine but orange instead of purple waved at us. She ran around the counter and hugged Josh before smiling and shaking my hand.

"Hi! I'm Tylin but you can call me Ty, I'm assuming you're the sister?"

I nodded and shook her hand.

"I'm Fawn and that would be correct."

Ty smiled and hugged me unexpectedly, which resulted in me akwardly patting her back.

"Well, Ty, we came to say hi. We have to get Fawn back to her parents in a few minutes, but I knew you wanted to meet her."

Ty nodded and let go of me, holding me at arms length.

"Fawn, I'm going to be really lame for a second and pull a grandma move, so bare with me because you are just so adorable!"

She then pinched my cheeks slightly and once she was done we had to leave. She hugged both of us goodbye and we then started heading towards the exit.

"So, whatcha think?"

I looked Josh up and down and shrugged.

"Little chubby and paler then I remember but not bad"

Josh rolled his eyes and punched my shoulder. I stuck my tongue out at him as he threw his arm around my shoulder.

"I meant about Ty, you idiot"

"Hey! It's proud idiot to you, sir. And she's alright, kinda...huggy...but she's nice."

"Do you not like hugs anymore?"

I shrugged.

"I do, just not unexpected ones."

"Oh you mean like this?" I shrieked as Josh picked me up and spun me. He started laughing as he put me down and I glared playfully at him as I pushed open the doors to go outside.

"Josh, you suck."

"I know, but you love me"

"I'm not sure I do"

We went back and forth with nonsense dialogue for about 10 minutes when Brendon's car finally pulled up. I hugged Josh tightly and held on for what seemed like 30 seconds but was probably 20 minutes. I watched him outside of my window as we left and when I couldn't see him anymore I sighed.

"Hey, little deer, you okay back there?"

"Yeah, just tired."

That was only partially true. I was sad I had to leave Josh but I also knew I'd probably see him again.

"Okay, well when we get home you can go to sleep, you'll probably have to kick Laine out. I'll wake you up when dinner's ready"

I nodded and rested my head against the window before pulling out my phone.

I decided to check Twitter and found a bunch of people tweeting about me. That was usual but I was tagged multiple times being asked what the surprise was.

satansspecialsnowflake : hey uh @therealfawnurie I don't like the sound of this. u and for head better not be burning a place down or something

Another  tweet was attached.

"Thanks for the clout forehead"

Brendon laughed from besides me and I sighed. I updated my profile pic to a Kermit meme, knowing I was probably going to change it again soon before exiting out of the app.

Life seems to only just be looking up for me these days

a/n : sorry for the shorter chapter but hey, I finally updated ! (and I'm finally 16 although I'm proclaiming this like 15 days late, but hey, I do almost everything else late so what else do ya expect)
