"Okay, so let me get this straight." Jennie sighed, glancing at Lisa with complete worry on her features.
"Hmm, yeah?" Lisa responded, her smirk growing after each passing second as she watched Jennie pace around her office.
"So you're telling me, that you're my personal assistant." Jennie asked, her face full of worry and disgust.
"Yup!" Lisa cheered, before moving closer to Jennie. "Aww, don't you love me?" She asked with fake despair, before laughing at Jennie's beet red face.
"You know what? Okay." Jennie took a deep breath.
She had to get work done and she needed to go into her boss mode.
"First order of business, you'll address me as Ms. Kim. Nothing more, nothing less, am I understood?" She spoke sternly, facing Lisa who was taken back by the sudden change of attitude.
"Umm.... yeah..... yes, Ms. Kim." Lisa spoke, her confidence oozing out of her every second she keeps her gaze into Jennie's brown orbs.
"Next, I will not allow you to be late again. If you want to keep your job, you have to put in the work." Jennie motioned for Lisa to follow her as she began to walk out of her office and into the crowded hallway.
The hallway erupted in many faint 'Good-morning Ms. Kim' but Lisa could only pay attention to the woman strutting in front of her, radiating with dominance.
"I like my coffee done as soon as I get to work, so if you're ever late, let my secretary know so I can have my coffee. Also, I have already assigned several assignments to you, and I need them done before midnight, am I clear?" Jennie asked sharply, as Lisa responded with a light yes. "Now, here's your office and I'm going to need your email." Jennie said, opening a door which revealed a very luxurious room. No doubt it wasn't cheap.
"Wow...." Lisa said in awe, her mouth wide open as she gently grazed the gold lining on the wall. "This probably costs more than my actual life savings." She muttered, before jumping at the sound of Jennie's voice.
"Timing is key to survive here, Ms........." Jennie trailed off, her eyes staying on Lisa.
"Manoban." Lisa responded quietly.
"Right. Timing is key to survive here, Ms. Manoban. Don't disappoint me, because I'll be more than happy to fire you." Jennie spoke sternly, her eyes shooting daggers through Lisa's soul. "Well, what are you waiting for? You have work to do!" Jennie growled, making Lisa jump to her feet as Jennie's heels began clicking across the floor in a quick manner.
"Dang, so rude." Lisa mumbled, before opening her computer. "Hmmm.... she's probably over exaggerating the amount of work I have, because I can't find it." Lisa mumbled sadly, trying her best to find out how to work the technology. Her computer clearly hated her because she couldn't even turn it on. Her fingers searched everywhere, but she couldn't find anything.
Wishing that someone, anyone, can help her was a wish come true as she heard three hard knocks on the door. Pushing her chair back, she quickly leaped from her seat and ran towards the door, throwing it open. By doing so, it revealed a female with one of the most beautiful faces she's ever seen.
"Um, hi. I'm Chaeyoung but you can call me Rosé.. Are you Lisa?" The girl asked, with a large grin on her face as she addressed the younger girl.
"Who's asking? Because if it's you, then yes, I'm Lisa. How can I help you, my pretty lady?" Lisa asked, looking the unknown girl up and down with a smirk.
"Well, Jisoo wanted me to check on you with the technology because she said that you're probably struggling with it. So, are you?" Chaeyoung asked, her gentle gaze staying on Lisa, who's smirk immediately grew by the second.
