To: Lalisa Manoban
Subject: Schedule for Today
From: Kim Jisoo

Ms.Manoban, below this sentence i've attached your schedule for today. At anytime it can change, however this is what we have at the moment. Also, here we use military time. So, don't be that one person that's jus—- anyways, here's your schedule.

-Meeting at 1100:
*Discuss the newest technological updates on our latest product, discuss new technological advancements, and ideas for a new product
-Meeting at 1215:
*Discuss the financial status for the company and the different improvements that can be made within
-Ms. Jennie Kim's orders do not have a direct time limit and therefore cannot be put as a specific time for this schedule. Just know that you'll have to go to Ms. Kim to find the rest of your schedule.

Lastly, Ms. Kim hates late employees. So whatever you do, whether it's fly, skeet, jump, soar, anything. DO NOT BE LATE!!

-Kim Jisoo, Secretary

Lisa sighed loudly, before checking the time once again. She's ten minutes late to her first meeting.

She leaped from her seat as she dashed from the door and into the hallway, where she began to put her long legs to work. Her hands were full of her work bag and her laptop, and at any minute they could fall out of her grasp.

In record speed, the girl was at the meeting room and when she flew open the door, a thousand eyes were on her. Some were cold, and some were soft and sweet. Some were sympathetic, and some were full of disappointment. However, only one pair of eyes caused Lisa to feel her heart go to her toes.

Jennie.

Her eyes were so full of anger and ice, however her posture and everything else remained professional. Jennie glanced at Lisa for another three seconds until her voice spoke, cold as ice.

"Well, Ms. Manoban. You already caused this meeting to be late, would you like to make it even later?" Jennie asked with sarcasm dripping from her tone, as Lisa felt herself shake in fear.

"Ah....um...." She scratched her neck as she began to walk towards the only empty seat in the room, which was right beside Jisoo and the one and only, Jennie Kim.

"Anyways, we might as well start now, don't you think?" Jennie asked, and with a clap of her hands, the meeting began.

To say that Lisa was confused was a complete fact. The terms that were being used didn't even make any sense, and the fact that the employees kept glancing at her as if she had to say something. No way was Lisa going to even mutter a word, because she didn't need to be in deeper issues with her boss than she already was.

However, of course, today wasn't her day and she immediately jumped when Jisoo kicked her from underneath the table. She looked around, and glanced at Jisoo as if to ask what was she supposed to say.

"Oh, Ms. Manoban, the question was do you agree with the idea of changing the new device with different characteristics than what it already has?" Jisoo asked, with a grand smile on her face.

"Oh... um, well.... I mean... if the device isn't working well with the characteristics it already maintains, then of course we should change it. If we really want.... to... um.... sell this product, but it's really bad, then who is going to buy it? No one. So, yeah.... um, totally change its characteristics and stuff." Lisa finished, playing with her fingers when she was done.

The room erupted in mumbles and some cheers as Jennie brought order back into the room.

"Well, you can clearly see that the vote is settled. We're going to have to work on this immediately, because there's is absolutely no point for us to postpone the release date when we have all of you intellectuals working together to fix it." Jennie spoke as all of the workers smiled brightly at the compliment. "Anyways, we'll meet again later today to discuss what we're going to keep and discard of for the new device. You all are dismissed. Fighting!" Jennie cheered, and everyone else cheered back as they got their stuff and left.

The smile stayed on her face until the last person left, and then out of nowhere did it drop and was replaced with her cold glare towards Lisa.

"Lalisa." Jennie spoke with confidence, facing the now shaking girl who was clutching onto Jisoo as if her life depended on it. However that didn't last long when Jisoo pushed the younger girl off of her.

Jisoo leaned into Lisa, before mumbling in her ear.

"Instead of flirting with my girlfriend, you should've read the email. I'm sorry, Lalice, but I'm not facing the wrath of that woman with you. Good luck!" Jisoo whispered, before pushing her chair back, bowing her head at Jennie, and speed walking out of the door.

"I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die, I'm gonna die..." Lisa mumbled, before making the mistake of looking her boss in the eye.

"Remember what I first told you earlier today?" Jennie asked calmly, as she began to strut back and forth, making the younger girl shiver in more fear than she already was.

"Y-Y-Yes M-Ma'am." Lisa stuttered.

"Okay, what did I say?" Jennie asked, stopping to face Lisa as she began to recite what she remembered.

"Y-You told me that t-timing is key here to su-survive. An-And that you won't he-hesitate to fire me." Lisa recited, her head hung low. She didn't even want to bother making eye contact with Jennie, but she had to or else she'll look weaker than what she already was.

And Lisa wasn't weak.

"Hmmm... did I?" Jennie asked rhetorically, however Lisa thought it was just a genuine question.

"Um, yeah. You said—"

"I know what I said, Ms. Manoban. I was being rhetorical."

At this, Lisa blushed a bright red.

"Anyways, how do you expect me to trust you if your first day is already getting worse by the hour. Lalisa, should I be concerned?" Jennie asked, her eyes burning through Lisa.

"No ma'am. It's just been a rough day, that's it." Lisa responded shyly, and she glanced at her boss, who was combing through her hair with her fingers.

"You're right. It has been a rough day. So, I'm going to let you off on a good note right now. However, if you make more mistakes later....." Jennie spoke with a stern and teasing tone. She leaned closer to Lisa's face, and her gaze locked in with her employee's.

"... be prepared to face the consequences, dear." Jennie spoke with a smirk, looking Lisa up and down before walking out of the meeting room, leaving the orange haired girl in complete shock.
